@@betelgeuse-romanee-conti-desu If I was going to take a guess I would say that Reinhardt is his nephew given the age difference. William seems like someone who is noble and provides advice to those who have talent similar to that of his own. Maybe a mentor even.

8:22 In the LNs, it felt like there was an episode's worth of cut content relating to Subaru, Priscilla and Al. I hope they can get some of that stuff into s3.

13:12 Is this your favorite type of character? He reminds me of Luka from steins:gate 13:25 I didn't remember that, but that's my name. I didn't remember there was an anime with a character with my name I was watching episode 13, what a good episode. Emilia realizes that he is in love, and is just doing things to please herself, after he destroys some limits that she imposed, and the ending changes to a more dramatic one, because this arc is the best of the first season. I'm talking about assuming you've already watched ep 13. Looking forward to the next reaction. Obviously, it's not like Emilia takes everything into consideration. She doesn't know what happened in other lines, and Subaru really helped, she was cruel. The opening will change, the next episode too.

The insignia is actually a royal candidates way of showing that your eligible for the throne, in ep3 Reinhard saw the red stone in the insignia glowing in Felts hand which means shes a candidate, thats why he was asking for her family name, her age, etc.

I went back to that episode and I could see a small glimmer or glow within the stone. They probably didn't want to make it too obvious at first.

Tough watch incoming indeed. Subaru's regression as a character is hard to watch but necessary for his growth.. It needed to be addressed, and this was a perfect time for this aspect of his character to be challenged.

Indeed, a lot of things happen in this episode, and there are also many new faces. It's great that you're watching several ep's per week although it can be a challenge to digest the plot well, there are several things to keep in mind as the story progresses. BTW, It is amazing the voice range of Crusch's AV (the green-haired candidate). Can you believe it's the same voice as Kishirika Kishirisu? xD

My goal is to watch at least 2-3 though if I wasn't doing reactions to them I would have already binged the series, because every episode is either getting better or more entertaining. I would never have guessed that was Kishirika's VA... gotta give props to the VA's who can range there voice into a whole new character.

I rewatched loads now and honestly subaru gets too much hate these couple episodes lol, he was def in the wrong though but I feel like hes warranted some slack considering his mental state.

Spoilers (kinda): This is where I stopped my rewatch last time, the episodes after this are so damn cringe inducing I couldn't finish them. They're important episodes for subaru's development and the story but I couldn't take it, going to suffer through them this time though

i thought these were always one of the best episodes because they were the cornerstones for the "famous" episode and super necessary also seeing subaru in that state made him feel very human
