The thing is that many (american) interviewers don't take bts seriously so instead of asking them interesting questions about their music they ask for stuff like their favorite pizza topping. And whenever the interview goes into that direction the members just troll the shit out of it. They are born comedians😂

Namjoon is pretty passive/agressive in American interviews cuz they dont treat BTS like artists and Joon is tired of it. They always ask the same 6-7 questions that have nothing to do with BTS' music or artistry and its hit a point where Joon doesn't have to sit back and take that shit.

Those whole interview is funnier if we watched it full. And when he said COLOUR CHANGING SOUP is actually a HAIR DYE lmaoo he cant find the word and thats the best he could come up with 😭

Namjoon has a lot of responsibility. Anything that goes wrong, he is who the company contacts. He is the middle man between the group and the company. He has to help resolve conflicts among the members. He and the members get a lot of hate. When they mess up, or one messes up Joon takes accountability on behalf of the group. He then reads books to educate himself about sexism for example. He requests a women’s studies professor review his lyrics so he can make sure he doesn’t disrespect women again. He takes all of the back lash. Joon calms Army down when necessary. He also addresses media when they attempt to disrespect Army. He checked James Corden and settled an issue some Army had with him. He did it while they were guests on the Late Night Show. A writer for Billboard attempted to insult Army during an interview and Joon politely put the writer in his placed. He checked him. The group is as protective of us as we are of them. He is smart, thoughtful, humble, encouraging, and kind. He is the best leader everrr. Brazil wanted to elect him as their president. I think he said he wasn’t a citizen. 💜

RM is just sick of interviewers treating them like kids asking dumb questions and not taking there talent serious basically using them for clout and views reason being for his expressions and reactions he is over it ! Also He is not the only member that speaks English he is the only member that is fluent in English. And to grey shirts comment …. Some of the members are learning English …. It’s not just RM speaking when they do speeches and receive awards etc all the members practice English for American shows etc so they can all say a short heart felt message for fans they have worked there ass off to learn English . RM is a great leader he puts everyone before himself he is selfless loves his members unconditionally and he is a protector it’s not just because he speaks English!

I haven't seen a comment about this yet, Namjoon was voted to be the leader by the members and the company. One of his primary roles is to serve as the liaison between the company and the members to ensure members' best interests, and concerns are met, and addressed. The same goes the company's in regards to Bangtan... essentially, he takes on all the additional stress directly. Yes the members support him, but Namjoon is still the groups' representative with company business matters and interpersonal relationships as as such has to constantly think of what is best for the group, the members individually, and the company with all decisions. Here, you see the members naturally look to Namjoon for aid in these interview clips as he's the most comfortable with english at the time they were conducted. Again everyone contributes to the team and makes sacrifices to for the collective good of the group; you can note when they lean on each other for guidance in differing situations.

america, instead of asking bts questions like who you want to collaborate with or what they had for breakfast this morning, how about asking them something related to their MUSIC! I swear they been collaborating with the entire American music industry at this point, who's left? 😭 How many more times are they gonna get asked these kinds of questions, lmfao. This is the reason RM comes off as so passive aggressive, it's because of the same questions gets asked so he's honestly just done. And extremely sarcastic! There's only a handful of interviewers who have truly done their research and shown real interest in learning their inspiration and responses when they're being interviewed. And ironically, it's mainly interviewers who are ARMYs! (Shoutout to Liam!!!) Oh and this video is a bit old right? He was also done because their English was very broken and cute (lol) so he just laughed and cringed at it before, but when I tell you, it improved A LOT! They said, when interviewers speak slowly, they can understand a lot better now. Their American accent, pronunciation and intonation has improved, especially the hyung-line + jungkook. It's not so broken anymore and can speak in complete sentences, it's quite impressive with how busy they are and still find the time to study the language. Nevertheless, RM is so effortlessly funny, all he has to do is stand there 😭💜

Ok, tbh most of the question were always the same and kinda dumb, not relating to their music mostly, but when BTSs English skills were not as good as now, they were so hilarious. But I know it put a lot of stress on Namjoon, since the guy had to constantly translate. If they did several interviews in one day, you could clearly see him getting more and more unpatient.
