First trip out to the Mark Twain National Forest to explore the Glade Top area. The trip started out as any other, other than spending a few more bucks with rising fuel prices. Spencer and I met up about an hour outside of the planned camping spot. Well, at least what we thought was going to be an hour. What we thought was going to be a gravel road quickly turned into a rough and gnarly trail. We finally made it to camp after night wheeling for about an hour and a half. Once at camp we met up with Jacob with @EaglesPursuit and Benji with @BudgetOverland. We all talked and hung out around the fire well into the wee hours of the morning. Eventually turning in and heading for bed. Got up, and made a quick breakfast, and then started discussing the plan for day. Benji and Jacob didn't believe us that it was a pretty rough trail that we came in on. We quickly made plans for that trail. Headed off and they quickly realized what they were up against that we did in the dark the evening before. After the trail we stopped for lunch and made plans for one more trail. During this exploring we found a few really neat camp sites. Eventually ending back up at one for the night. Spencer decided to head out after dinner. The rest of us hung around the fire and just relaxed. The next morning everyone was tired and moving slow. Making breakfast and calling a it a trip. When we stopped to air up, Jacob didn't leave his truck running and killed the battery. We used bailing wire as jumper cables to get it going. As a surprise on the way home we ended up taking the Ferry across Bull Shoals lake. Thanks for watching!
