Not to worry guys, after they get sliced up from the serrated fiberglass, they will quickly realize that the benevolent westerner's shiny objects aren't really worth fighting over. It was pretty obvious from the kids ignoring him waltzing up with his rubbish held high but dude is so full of himself and yet somehow completely lacking any self-awareness that he follows that clip up by shilling sweatshop shoes (but dude, they plant trees in the rainforest! wait, what??) in front of an ungodly amount of (unbroken) shiny objects custom made for our clueless (but oh so cute!) hero on his yet to be seen (from angles lo & hi, near & far, and in hi-def no doubt) future conquests of waves worldwide. Until that fateful day when they too reach their breaking point and find themselves no longer in favor with our hero who unironically now views them as some kind of virtue signalling fodder, so long as the cameras are rolling and under-privileged brown kids are nearby. It's all g-money tho, our hero's got privilege on the wide!

Thank you for sharing! We were lucky enough to be at Lauloa Condo in Ma’alaea last July when the FANTASTIC waves came in. We were in awe!!! We probably saw you, but didn’t know it. Give Ma’alaea some love for us. We couldn’t get there this year.

I have surfed waves of the same caliber as these when I was the only one out too. I know it's blasphemy. But.... I like surfing in a decent crowd better. Bumping elbows and barking? No. But a group of decent surfers pushing each other. Someone seeing/watching you pushes you.

I remember finding that right hander on google earth about 10 years ago. Super long and fast breaking all the way to the beach. No resorts there then, except that expensive one up the other end of the beach..
