Looks good overall but the overspray on his right side makes it look like his hair is connected to his eyebrows and fades in without a line but on his left side it looks like you lined it up and there's no overspray. A lot of other people won't notice or are too afraid to point things out in fear of being called a hater, but we all can improve in whatever we do. A 99% is still an A+ so props to a great cut.
What would you say to amateurs such as myself as far as blending goes. To see the side blend I'll look from the side or from the back with a second mirror. Also if you could only have one clipper for cutting and only one for edging what would they be?
13:14 I only had that reaction once in my lifetime as I left a barber chair in 2016!!! ONE TIME I TELL YOU AND ALL THESE BARBERS IN THE MDV PRICE GOING UP AND THEY QUALITY OF SERVICE GOING DOWN!
To be on the safe side start with the lever all the way open to start the blend, then you can close it halfway to knock out the line some more, lastly you can close it all the way but you just have to be able to judge by looking to see how much the lever have to be closed or open. That’s how I do my blends, I’ve been cutting since I was 13 and I learned from the best and that’s my dad. They used to call him the fade master and he taught me how to fade just like him.
