Also hindu weddings are not 1 day event, it takes days, there are many rituals and ceremonies that needs to be done. Hence the expenses are even more. Ambani didn't even spend 0.5% of his savings. Should we call him a bad father?

The whole engagement and wedding going on close to a year must have been so terribly exhausting for all the workers, event planners, employees , participants, the families etc. I can't even imagine how it was planned out and the amount of time spent on planning to perfection etc. Just to plan for Christmas itself is stressful and exhausting. 😅
It's called work and employment opportunity for the workers and performers. Also it's not like every day was an event. Even ordinary Indian families have multiple wedding rituals and it's not a short affair. We just invite people of our own status. But they did arrange 50 more lavish weddings for underprivileged girls during this time as part of their own son's wedding celebration and gifted them some gold jewellery for the occasion. Those girls and their families would be thankful.
