As a person who owns wolf spiders I can definitely say they're eyesight is to not be underestimated, your wolf spider demonstrated that amazing ability to hunt! Would love to see them more often! And from the looks of your wolf spider, if all goes well you should have them for another year or so!

Interestingly, I am more excited for non-tarantula feeding videos than tarantula feeding videos. And wouldn't mind to see them more often. :D Oh, and also, the reason the Lycosa singoriensis doesn't use its hide and usually wanders around is that it is a mature male, in search of a female.

Sweet. That was a cool feeding time. Kiwi and the wolf spider are definitely my favourite true spiders in the Den, soo cute. And the Harry Potter enclosure is the best enclosure, at least as long as the crabs' enclosure is still empty.

The fruit flys will attract to the empty drinks u have on your shelf if there’s left over soda in it!

Hi my friend :) Use a shallow dish of apple cider vinegar with some dots of washing up liquid and it will get all those suckers!! I have that problem with guinea pig veggies 😅 fruit fliesss are a painnn

It might not be fruit flies. It could be something known as fungus gnats. They are a similar size and look to fruit flies. They lay there eggs in soil. They could be inhabiting felix's plant pots. To combat the flies you can either buy a special type of oil that is added to the substrate and kills off the eggs orrrr you can cover the soil with peddles and rocks

the fruit flies might be fungus gnats which a problem I've dealt with in the past, once they start growing in numbers they will take over a lot of your enclosures with moist substrate and are hard to deal with, you should find the source of them (usually anything containing moist soil) and let the substrate in that container completely dry out for a week or two so the larvae will die off

You can get rid of those fruit flies with some red wine vinegar in a cup some plastic wrap on top of the cup wrap a rubber band around the cup to hold the plastic wrap down and make small holes in the plastic wrap also if your holes are to big they'll fly out if they're to small they can't fly in also beautiful spiders

For the fruit flies: mix some apple juice with vinegar and a bit dish washing soap. Put that in little glases or open cups, place them in different spots and see them drown. You can mix the vinegar with some sougar if you don't have juice, it works the same. Maybe you can locate the source like that too.

About your 'fruit flies'. That could be Sciarid gnats, living in your plants. If that the case they should be around the pots a lot and I'd recommend yellow glue traps to catch the flies. Hope i could help you out.

Petko, i will take this in English instead of serbian. You have helped me alot with my arachnophobia. Before, i could not watch pictures or movies or documentaries with spiders, because of my phobia. Before i used to kill them when i saw one at home( i know, im horrible but i could not help it) But when i started to watch you, i was not affraid to watch your friends ( cause they are) and after that i started to watch exotic lair. I cant hold one, still afraid, but i catch them ( home ) and set them free now instead of killing. And i think it’s because of your personality that made me less scared ( still cant hold one) but i can watch movies, pics and youtube clips of spiders, and i think it’s all thanks to you. So hvala puno Petko, hvala mnogo. Thanks for helping me, hope one day i can hold one and get rid of my arachnophobia, but at least im not that scared of them any more. P.s i would consider getting a little kiwi of my own ,that dont scare me so much, just addorable

Your wolf spider has a beautiful Southwestern pattern on its body. Like it should be in Texas or New Mexico. A very pretty spider but terrifying none the less. Have you watched the videos of the gentleman that helps the wolf spiders get unstuck from whatever it is wrapped around their feet? It is so sweet to see him interacting with something that's terrifying to look at but on the other hand it stands there and let him take the tape off of its feet. It's very heartwarming. If you haven't seen it you should check it out.

Take a small dish or two, small but not too shallow. Pour a small amount of cider vinegar into the dish, then cover the dish with saran wrap. Poke some small holes, big enough for a fruit fly to get through, into the saran wrap and sit the dish near wear the most flies are. They love cider vinegar, and if you make the dish right, they can get in but they can't get out. You can catch dozens of them in a small dish.

Whatever it was you did for Despacito's moment, it made me laugh so hard...

wolf and huntsmen are some of my favourites, there native here, there arborual and dont burrow so you will do better with lots of branches and leaf litter in there enclosure so they can climb.

Love these true spider feeding clips, there aren't enough decent ones on RU-vid & whats up with the end of this video, I was waiting for a 'hidden track' or something!! I only keep true spiders & I think they are under represented because they are smaller & harder to film, I have spitting spiders & their hunting techniques are unique & fascinating, I would love to see their feeding process filmed if it is at all possible, more true spiders perrrrrlease!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get a glass put some cider vinegar, washing up liquid and water in it. Put some clingfilm over it tightly and put some holes in it. Will catch the fruit flies.
