These whiskeys don’t seem like they’re suited to being a replacement for the main spirit in a drink. They’re usually heavily sweetened, which isn’t the case for normal whisky, and much lower proof. Maybe if they were added as a modifier, or say 1 ounce of the flavored whisky and one ounce of normal whisky to raise the proof and cut the sweetness, they would work better.

The thing I love most about Meredith's cameos is that they give a really fun impression that Greg has a whole group of friends who are into cool shit like video production and experimenting with cocktails like he is.

OMG, "We got a Peach Crown Royal Dice Bag". Bruh, you are *legit*. Mad respect here, one nerd to another. That said, Greg. Seriously. Make drinks I might want to make and drink. Just a suggestion, one tipsy gamer to another.

Hey all, great channel. I been taking it easy but tonight my mom is getting near the end. no more hospitals she's home here with us now where she belongs. but to the lighter point I went out to grab something to feel good with. I came home with a 1/5th of Carolans Salted Caramel Creme and my very first 1/5th of Plantation. EPIC. a bit of the creme on rocks with a splash of that sugar.. it's helping. and that's one of it's purposes. we're lucky to have such things to enjoy. cherish every sip of life. I'll call the drink "Cilla's Send-off". awesome channel & group.

I love this show so much that I’ll save new episodes to watch later, forget to watch for a month, then have a wonderful HTD marathon. Cheers Greg!

I like flavored whiskeys and trying to make different drinks with then. My favorite so far is a “old fashioned peanut butter cup”. I use peanut butter whiskey, cocoa bitters, instead of simple syrup i use a dark chocolate liqueur, and ice. It’s a dessert drink for sure.

I think it would be pretty cool if after you did a couple of these, you took what you've and make actual food versions of the cocktail. So for the cherry whiskey smash maybe take out mint, add in something else, and name it.

I’ve always loved really sweet really fruity flavours in general (like in sodas or desserts, not so much in my alcohol but still) My point is I’ve tried a lot of fruit flavoured things and I’ve always said that certain types of both peach and mango flavouring have a very vomit-like taste to them, like it’s subtle and sort of in the back of your throat but it’s definitely there and I struggle a lot to find actually good not vomit-y peach or mango flavoured things So I’m glad to know I’m not the only one I guess!

at my bar, our liquor rep gave us some beach coconut whiskey and some cinnamon whiskey and we were tasked to come up with drinks for them. the beach coconut makes an excellent sour with pineapple. the equal amount of acids and sweetness from the pineapple but still sorta tasting like a whiskey sour is a WILD taste and it is certainly a nice refreshing summer whiskey cocktail

A Vanilla Manhattan sounds good. I would make one with a Vanilla Bean infused Whiskey. A "Vanilla Crown" Manhattan just sounds bad. Vanilla Crown and Coke works though.

I like Meredith (sorry if I misspelled). I have my roommate says that I like my drinks too dry (not sweet), so I think her and I would have similar tastes. I love when she sneaks up from behind the camera!

Needs a part two with the rest of the flavored whiskeys. And there needs to a quest to find the best classic cocktails to use the ones already used. Plus if these are already sweetened, cut back on any syrup being added to balance them. You really won't lose the essence of the cocktail if you dial that back down if you're already using a sweetened main spirit.

I really hope you come back to these random cocktails and see if some of them can be saved. Some of the too sweet ones may be better without syrup.

I would love to see a mystery bag pull episode. Some iconic drinks are discovered through experimenting. One bag with spirits, one bag with bitters/liqueurs, one bag with modifiers (citrus, egg white, pineapple juice, etc). It would be cool to have Greg invent his own iconic cocktail.

I don't know about flavored whisky, but us college students use alot of flavored vodka for different cocktails where the mixer is pretty plain (or for jungle juice). Chiltons are super popular at the bars here and since the mixer is just soda water and lime, everyone gets a flavored vodka to customize the flavor. My personal favorite is a cucumber chilton. I guess flavored whisky would be used for similar stuff, like whisky and coke. A cherry whisky and coke sounds great to me 😌
