Faith in God of your understanding is part of it but not what it boils down to. It's all about telling yourself positive things to bring about positive changes when you're conscious mind gives positive commands often enough the subconscious mind responds in kind.

I swear I have been so many different situations. I’ve read all the spiritual stuff I’ve done, healing, retreats, psychedelic medicine, retreats, plant, medicine, healing, journaling for years. I’ve done all of the stuff people preach, and I have never been given something without having to work for myself and just enough to survive. Not anything crazy or outlandish

Me either. I want to believe it all though. I don't like the college student and hand bag example. At first it makes you picture someone struggling and there's just no way she's getting. But oh she has a fiance that can afford it and got it for Xmas. Same with people saying they manifested money because they have a family with money that gave them some. There have been times though I felt like this way of thinking worked. I got my current job after being rejected by many and it turned out to be all around better than others I wanted so bad.
