Why pop evasion when they're in cheap shot stun? I've seen other rogues do it too. Just curious.

I think if they resist they might get a "window" to act or stun/vanish so evasion is a safer just in case

If you look closely at his CDs he was going to use preparation to get vanish and blind back. It also refreshes the CDs on evasion so he uses it before preparation to not waste it.
