There’s zero wrong with “click bait” other than people’s perception of it. I could just upload a word paint thumbnail, but zero people would click on it. Airsoft content is already throttled enough. I won’t put effort, time and money into each episode and put up something that won’t attract people? The title suggests the end of airsoft as we know it. Glad you enjoy the channel. Myself and a lot of others put a lot of energy into it.
Of all the click-bait I’ve seen, this one’s pretty fair… Wow! This product really is a game-changer. Red-dot thermal sight that isn’t the size of a brick? COOL!!

Maybe I don't understand the term. I thought "click-bait" meant, "the title had nothing to do with the content and I just wasted my time watching that". But that seemed to be on the money there. As a side note, I think personally it's gonna ruin or at the very least; unbalance the game. I can't afford that kind of cash for the advantage it's gonna give people over me so my woodland game has to change. Indoor sites it shouldn't make much of a difference. But I'm only speculating. Good video D. Not a bad wee sound out of the Rodes there too.
Its cool but doubt it will change airsoft cuz the buy in for it is 2200+ usd for a red dot from what i seen. Plus you cant run a poly shield infront of thermals cuz it will negate readings.
I play with thermal flip over on my atn digi main scoop and in can place my thermal in front of any sight, but they do have limits. If you are a ghillie and tucked in a thick hedge the thermal has problems. But a loose hedge ie holly and you will stand out if you get used to seeing what you are seeing. Another neg to thermal is the flat image you are seeing so when you fire your bb you cant track it like a normal sight its a hope it hits, what i do is find my target then flip the thermal out the way and then fire you can then see if you need to lift the gun for the next shot or not. On my atn i do have laser range finder as well so you can press a button to get the range of the target and if its in your zeroed in range then its good bye.. my scoop set up was around £2000 .. 😂 yes it can film as well.. but a company needs to make a combo sight for airsoft as mine is really for real steel and the distances its ment to be used is 100s of mtrs not 50 mtrs 😂.. but the future looks thermal.. 😂
Cool optic for sure. Only the Rich kids will run this. Lucky them but it wont make you a better shooter or tactician. Nit being g able to see your bbs flight path in full thermal mode will be a little draw back but if your closer that won't matter. Nice video man its cool to be sharing this new tech with your audience.
Using the thermal overlay you will see them just like any other red dot. With hop set, rif set you will be hitting the red dot. For the time being yes only a few people will have them but in a few years we won’t be replicating COD, we will be replicating HALO! Invisibility cloak and all! I’ve used thermal previously just for spotting.
WOW, we ghillies have to adapt.. maybe with Light ghillies load outs letting us run faster. Or, and really think about this one.. shovels, we dig ourselves on the dirt lol. I don't think this will change airsoft at all, because besides a handful of Airsoft RU-vidrs, nobody will invest two+ grand in an optic for Airsoft. So don't worry. Your Ghillies will still work just fine. 😉 But Holosun had a few veeery interesting things going on on the IWA this year 🔥 I'm excited, what we will see on the fields in the future.
If you look at the current yes 2300 dollars is big buy. However, the bigger picture? Totally different. Optics like this used to be £10k easy and now they are down to 2300! That’s insane! The leap in quality and the collapse of price shows a curve that we will see optics like this in the near future. What will it look like in 3-5 years? Who knows.
One thing people miss is that these optics are real steel thing which is why they are so damn expensive because they have to withstand recoul of real gun. Which also means that for some of us its something we can take and move to our real firearms making the investment quite a bit more acceptable. Secondly for airsofting you can always jus mount some cheap ir monocular if you need to spot guys that roleplay as bushes for about 1/4 of the price of an ir optic.
Yeah at the current price it won't effect Airsoft as much I'd say..be crazy to spend that kina Dolla ATM...but yes maybe another 5 yrs from now be a different story when other companies produce them and push the price down...and even then i still think only a small % of players would actually fork out the money just for the novelty of thermals.
And i have currently on mine LPVO+piggybacked MRDS for +- $1200 combined ... Double of that for ir sight might be bit harder pill to swallow but still something i could justify considering i can always move it to my real rifle.
@@Asghaad if you are lucky enough to own real rifles and shoot real steel then sure the price can be justified. Ireland is fairly strict on this and real steel is pretty much out of the question so on an Airsoft level i could not justify it
@@mathyszka I see it as a £10k thermal red dot is now smaller lighter, bigger sensor, records and is now 2300! That’s nuts. Who knows… but in a couple of years will they be £1000 and then £300? And AliE copies £50? It’s getting there!
“This will change airsoft forever” is 100% accurate. This is a big step forward and it may not be this red dot… but in a few years if the price drops like it has everyone will be running a variant of this. Airsoft will be more like Halo than COD
