@@GhibOjisan hahaha same i think you guys didn't cover enough especially ears with hoodies, but yeah i know it's super cold, been to muraoka in japan before and it was snowing and super cold blizzard
Very Beautiful indeed. I have been to Jungfrau several years ago around the same season too. However in my opinion, I always felt the snow capped mountain ranges in Japan (such as tateyama, niigata areas) are equivalently beautiful as well. Hence when I miss the snow capped mountain view, I would prefer to fly 7.5 hours to Japan, head to tateyama or niigata, and slurp on a bowl of hot udon or curry rice. Lol. Shorter flight distance, cheaper food, but equally breathtaking views. :D
I love ur travel vlogs so it’s so enjoyable and relaxing to watch especially since i am stuck in Singapore! Appreciate that u include the prices(and even help to convert it to SGD) makes it very informative for those planning to visit in the future! :> u and ur wife are the cutest ❤️ more videos with her pleaseeeee
I hope you enjoyed the trip because I enjoyed watching this video, and without having to spend 300 bucks to see the top of Europe lol. Much appreciated. Not sure when my next Europe trip will be, but definitely will bring much of cup noodles and “Sato No Gohan”.. (not because of cheapo but more to possible “home food sickness” emergencies).
Wow I never been to Switzerland before hopefully got chance to go there once.. I heard there is one mountain 🏔 which during early morning or evening time it will turn golden colour on the top.. haha that’s why I like Europe haha they really got work life balance after 5pm is all family and own me time lol
Coop is like Cold Storage and Migros is like NTUC. Anyways, the shops at train stations opens everyday whereas most shops elsewhere are closed on Sundays
Wow Ghib,,, Subarashi keshiki o mitte sugoku kando shimashita very beautiful,, i missed the snow, even though i hate winter but i love the snow n the view from d snow,, thanks for the good work you n wife did, feels like i m there through your eyes 🤣,,, Huat Ah,, 👍😬🥂..
I went to interlaken, Bern, lucerne and jungfraujoch when I went for my honeymoon 9 years ago. Couldn't survive more than a minute outside when I was in jungfraujoch.
Spent some of my coldest winters at Trondheim, Norway and Harbin, China. Between minus 26 and 30 in the day and minus 35 plus at night. It's crazy especially with the wind chill factor. Lips cracked and the skin of the face peeled easily with plenty of vaseline or cream. 🤣
in Lucerne, why so many people eat outside: only vaccinated and recovered people are allowed to eat inside (you need to show the covid-certificate), we have many unvaccinated (around 30%), these peole now eat outside but if it wasn't for the covid situation, no one would eat outside in a restaurant during winter
Cases are higher in Europe because they test a lot more than Asia… also it’s never going away and it’s something Europe realised before Asia and nobody wants to wear a mask forever
Hey Ghib, I have travelled to Switzerland several times, went in Dec 2021 (just recently). If you ever go back, take the bus to Iseltwald from Interlaken West. There's generally better food at West, and even a small Migros family restaurant with a lot of cheaper options.
Ghib mate, next time you go somewhere cold put some cloths on. Cover your head with a woolen beanie (especially the ears). Layer up with four layers--thermal, shirt, light woolen and down. Gloves and maybe a scarf for panache add a nice touch. Think about a slick and woolen socks under water proof boots. I have often had this problem with Indian plains people in the Himalaya. They don't get that sandals just don't cut it on the ice and snow.
The shorter business hours are influenced by blue laws or Sunday laws. It’s historical religious rules on activities during certain days. Usually smaller cities in Europe and North America follow it. The bigger cities are more liberal. In modern times, the limited hours promote work-life balance so people usually mention that.
did u guys follow a tour to jungfra or did you go by urselves? ive seen some package tours on Klook but im not sure if i should book them or go by myself. im from singapore too btw :)
Great choice to visit! I was there in November and went exactly the same places you visited. You should have tried to take the boat tour to mount riggi @ Lucerne … that’s amazing too
I have always wanted to visit Switzerland. Everything about it seems perfect to me, the country is just so beautiful, the people are friendly and the food look sumptuous. I wouldn't even mind actually living there for work.
I agree. Singapore government actually wrote an article countering this statement. www.gov.sg/article/singapore-is-it-really-the-most-expensive-place-to-live
Hotel Central-Continental is the name. There are some cons though, here's our full hotel review ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0aPdNn-Inio.html
Wow, love the natural scenic view, which you won’t get in a urbanised Singapore….else Singaporeans wouldn’t travel out of Singapore every year😊👍and dun think they are bothered about the masks anymore cos they are vaccinated n reached herd immunity, it’s just Singaporeans are ks….ur wife shud know 🤣😂👍
All the shops from Europe to Australia etc; operate like office hour so in the evening the streets are deserted. In SG one can even have midnight food in some places.
