i dont know why but ever since i started listening to bands such as hammock, this will destroy you, explosions in the sky etc. i think more about life, death and pretty much everything. I stop and think about the earth, space, people around the world when i listen to this music. This type of music has changed me a bit
I don't know how to describe it. It's reached new levels of epic yet still seems somehow understated, there's an obscene beauty to every scene. Wow, this video, this band, is amazing.
if you think about it, without this music the conscious realisation of what we take for granted might just fly over us unnoticed until something like this triggers appreciation for everything, my friend we are among the lucky ones... and your comment made me realise that
Im just thankful to be alive and to be able to experience music like this. All i can feel is thankfulness. I sometimes just sit in our garden with my Ipod listening to post rock songs and watch the trees and birds and all of nature interact. How can u not be thankful to be able to see things like that? I mean out of millions of sperms I accidently crashed upon this earth. How can I not be thankful? Sometimes i just perceptively breath and notice how wonderful breathing actually is.
I really enjoyed this dude. I normally hate fan made videos but this was consistent with the type of footage you used so it didnt feel 'jolty'. Keep this sort of thing coming!

I would not love more then to agree with you. If we ever reach the point where the world leaders and governments can realize that the minor differences we separate our selves with, are actually nonexistent; and we all work collectively, this world and Life its self would instantly become better. If we all lived through unconditional Love and compassion, we could accomplish so much. Though, i do not believe it will happen. We have been conditioned from birth to want, to need, to be the best.
This band are absolutely sublime. They remind me in some ways of Oceansize, except Oceansize have lyrics and do some heavier stuff, both amazing bands.
If people used are natural resources to better ourselves and eachother, instead of manipulations and destruction. We consistantly follow blindly thinking what is neccessary, what is neccessary that we front our problems and instead of more "solutions" we need to all be in this world together. if we all stood and held hands or watched the sun, if all 7 billion of us were concious at one moment. our would may just have rejuvination and find its true potential.

Well I got a Jack Johnson vibe from them from "I sing I swim" or however the title goes, they're so mellow I thought they were from Iceland, i know that they're on the morrmusic, which is in iceland
You guys should also check out Kunek and Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Seabear Seabear reminds me of Jack Johnson, a really mellow surf feel, but they're from Iceland so they have that same essence as Sigur Ros Kunek is amazing, they're more vocal, but still great
Somewhere between SDRE and the present, I'm finding first-time fascination with 'post-rock' bands. I dunno the science, but somehow, emotionally, they explain everything and nothing with this music. On RU-vid though, it fits perfectly with the bold-blurred-'colors' of aerospace testing. A kind of innocence, that they held "God's view" - and must progress, developing larger, prettier, more-violent explosions for the defense of that.
The world is full of things powerful things like time portals in the Caribbean (Bermuda triangle). We kill our selves for pleasure (smoking, weed doing cocaine, ecstasy) but when the world goes to hell we always have a reason to fight HOPE, Even if we die we know we died for something important in our opinion so when death comes to take us we'll be smiling. Because we humans are the demon and the nature is our angel, to set us free The World is a true love our mother we are the seed good or bad.
We are conditioned and learn from birth, that living in a materialistic world, where greed, power, and wealth means success. On top of this, we are taught that we are to fight, through any means, to achieve this wealth and power, if we have no wealth we have no power, therefore no success. This its self breads separation and fighting. The impoverished want wealth, so they will fight even kill for it. While the wealthy want more, taking from all they can. Governments are the same way, Wanting...
Man....these images remind me of the stupidity of man...how little we have learned from our past...and today dictators strive for atomic weapons while his people starve while we here are amused by American Idol shows...we are too busy texting, twittering, facebooking to care...we have regressed, sadly...this music makes me think of what we could have been....
