I had 4 die in about a month's time last year... our store ran out of our usual pellets and the ones they gave us instead didn't agree with their tummies... didn't see any signs that anything was wrong until it was too late. :( I have a lot of bunnies all around the same age, so it's not a surprising thing to lose a bunch at once in that case either... super hard though.
Eventually you never know what happend. I had 7 who died in the last 10 years but that is because at rabbit shelters we always chose the older rabbits so we didn't had them for very long. I just like to take care of the older rabbits who didn't had a great life and give them the life they deserve before passing.
Without context, it is hard to judge these people’s situation. I’ve lost 6 rabbits in the last 3 years due to age and health complications. All were well cared for and I spent upwards of $17,000 on them in vet bills…one just never knows.
@@kittenmimi5326 I think the crazy ones are just less inhibited to putting themselves out there and garner all the attention. Most people are lonely enough to ignore the red flags.

@@lazyhomebody1356 uhm...I don't think that freezing a wedding cake is wrong...I mean to each their own but there is no way that eating a piece of it every year is good for their health... they're can cause serious damage to their bodies by eating a "spoiled" cake
My mom always told me that i was over-loving my bestfriend spring, he passed away exactly 1 month ago, she’s gonna think different when she see how these couples love their bunnies
I get that everyone copes different but I'm honestly scared for their health. They eat a 19 year old cake EVERY YEAR and store it back in where dead bunnies are..
@@PromisedJubilee Yeah. Bunnies can live for 10 years or more if taken care of properly and even a a few years off of that would accumatle so many bunnies. Unless they had multiple bunnies at once. Idk. I don't know their lives
Omg.... When I lost my first bun, love of my life I remember driving up to the meadows to bury her, and for a flashing moment I wanted to taxidermy her. I also thought of getting her cremated so I can always have her with me. But it felt sooo right to me to have her be in the meadows, to be free so that's what I did :)
That's beautiful - I just recently got 2 bunnies and they are only 9 weeks old - but I think this is a wonderful idea❤❤❤ - Defiantly respectful to the bunny 🥰

I think it’s so good that people learn about care before getting a rabbit. I know it should be the norm but lots of people (me included unfortunately) get pets before research. My parents got mine for me when I was young as a surprise and for years they lived in hutches (they now live in a shed as I’m not allowed them inside unfortunately). Anyway what I’m trying to say is that I bet your buns will be living the life when you get them!

Yep, My uncle's ex wife would do the same thing with her cats. Like please just dig a whole and let them rest in peace. The sad thing is if a guest ever found that. They would probably be like wtf are you saving your dead pets for? You planning on making a stew out of them? Some people are just crazy and over board
Did anyone else get really ticked off when the narrator acted like free roaming was strange/unusual while putting rabbits in hutches was normal? Like, I don't blame the narrator himself since he's just reading off of a script, but I feel like whoever wrote that segment shouldn't have made it rub off that way. It's an incredibly bad message to send.
Thank you for teaching me how to properly take care for rabbits. I have had one rabbit for four years and ever since I've watched your videos I've followed your advice and my rabbit potato has been happier, healthier and we are best friends. He is so much happier as a free roaming bunny.
I’m literally so shocked rn.. Never say never but despite loving both my bunnies SO SO much, seeing them in my room/house freeze dried like that would break my heart everytime I’d see them cause it’d just remind me about their deaths.. No judgement whatsoever but I’d personally rather have tonnes of drawings/portraits and photos of them💜💜

What’s most concerning about this is how many rabbits she’s gotten through. These are not toys or prized-possessions, they are living, sentient beings that deserve a loving home and long happy life. This is very concerning and I hope rescue services got involved when this was filmed
I know, if you just got rid of her hoarders den.. she would have more time for the bunnies. Maybe they can even hang out in the living room, with her and her husband. 13 bunnies in 10 years, that can’t be right.
@@isabellalee8330 13 bunnies in 10 years is crazy, they know bunnies can live up 14 years. If they really loved bunnies, they would figure what is going on or just stop taking bunnies.

Also, it depends on the situation; My friend had 6 rabbits die in 7 months because she only adopted elder bunnies with disabilities. You cannot judge someone without getting to know their situations first
Definitely anyone with a bunny on the Internet is watching you and lennon! I found you a few weeks ago and you have changed my future bunnies lifes! Only for the fact I was uneducated and it is so normalised I was going to get a hutch and a run outside! Now my 2 babies will be free roaming with a condo as a home base at night and will be eventually free roaming 24 7 when they are fully litter trained! 29,000 bunny items?! Now, that's really a lot. I'm totally obsessed with bunnies too, but I have only about 12 bunny items. Some gems/jewels in the shape of bunnies, 2 rabbit hairbands/headbands, a bunny plushie I sleep with every night(and can't sleep without), a bunny pen...and like, 3 more items or so.😅

I'm from the UK and actually visited the Bunny Museum when I was on vacation and thought the bunnies looked pretty happy and well cared for at that time (it was 5 years ago) yes I think they are probably bonkers but life would be boring without eccentric people! I would love to see her on your channel, she was hilarious and also quite charming
When my fiance and I adopted our bunny we ended up de-cluttering our home rather than stocking up on more items 😅 I can't imagine ever being comfortable with all that mess in their bunny space if I were them. 😬

I think I'm okay with just having pictures of my rabbits after they pass. The physical bodies of my rabbits aren't what I get attached to so when they die the part that I will miss has already moved on. As for me its better to bury them underground to feed the garden for the next generation.

I know this might be bad of me, but I have a pitch-black sense of humor and I find this to be absolutely morbidly hilarious. I know this lady loves her lagomorphs but she unintentionally comes off as a ridiculously over-the-top rabbit-obsessed serial killer. Her preserving the bunny corpses next to the Blue Bunny ice cream sealed the deal for me. Note that I don't condone animal cruelty or anything like that AT ALL, but this just tickled my funny bone for how ludicrous it was. It was so bizarre that I couldn't help but laugh. Also, your reactions added to the hilarity.

@@puppetseducer well if you’re that worried about it, put it in a casket or just someplace safe, I personally find it creepy to keep dead things in my freezer(I like my carcasses away from the ice cream if you know what I mean)
