In mw2 you get 100% completion in multiplayer when you reach max rank and unlock all weapons and attachments , you go over the 100% when you prestige so if it was 200%+ he must of been real close to 3rd prestige
@@nathansorlien2296 No, there isn't. Microsoft engineers themselves confirmed two years ago that the RROD had nothing to do with ventilation. It was a thermal reaction in the solder within the chip itself, not even the solder connections to the board.

My original 360S RDOD’ed a few years ago, retired her from service, bought a COD Blue 500GB 360E a two years ago, and have transferred all my data to the 360E as the stores are shutting down on the 29th. Never going to give away or throw out that console though, she is a piece of my gaming history. She now sits quietly plugged in still, just to supply power to her usb ports for battery packs and portable fans that I use at work. Occasionally I will open her disc tray to hear that iconic chime that we all heard when we had a 360S. Her gaming days may be over, but she still is being used!
2:14 for that problem you need to install the avatar update of the dashboard that the console is on, for example if you are in the 9199 dash and you want the avatar you need to install the 9199 avata update

yeah and im glad they got reused even if they were untested. I got a boxed 360 fat for 5 eur because thrift store would throw it out. Reason: it didnt work properly the issue was the well known discdrive issue. man...
the 290% completion means hes prestige 2 level 62 or something, since 100% is general rank 70 so 60 is the 90% mark and prestige 1 is another 100% so it makes sense for the completion percentage.

I remember inserting an Xbox 360 game disc, which updated my 360 to this particular dashboard, which was on the 2010 version of the NXE dashboard. Later, in 2013 or 2012, they changed the design of the metro dashboard to the current one that we know today.
Found that at a fleamarket a few weeks ago for my collection, for 80 Euros, with both controllers. One controller needs fixing, but overall it's not in bad condition.
Considering how brittle these white cases are by now, rest in pieces is actually quite accurate for a lot of them. Don't know what Microsoft used in that plastic, but opening them up is extremely risky by now.

A reflow won't work. You have to replace the defective RAM chip (out of - I think - 16 or so) or the GPU, can be either one, and you don't know which one it is. They're all BGA chips, so you basically need a reballing station and quite some soldering skills. And you still might end up with a non-working console after putting multiple hours of work into it, for a console that's probably worth $30 to $40 when you resell it.
I hope you be spending the time ripping every demo and game from every drive man, you could get your hands on some real sought after content that others will never find!
@4:49 i was unfortunate enough to get the RDOD on my Xbox 360 Slim as a kid… it pushed me away from Xbox for a while, ngl. i just got a PS3 after that, then a PS4. eventually i went back to Xbox with an Xbox One S and haven’t looked back since! i have an Xbox Series X and S now
You can extract the key and flash it to another disk drive, for example one of the RRoD ones, and basically turn two non-working consoles into one working one. Back in the day I could disassemble, flash and reassemble an Xbox 360 within 10 minutes, so that the console could play backup games. Or you can RGH it and use it to play games from a harddrive.
Not a permanent fix, and replacing the x-clamp can even cause more damage. There is no permanent fix for the Red Ring of Death, even if you exchange the defective chip with a working one, this chip is basically doomed to fail aswell, it's a construction error that Microsoft engineers even admitted to about two years ago.
