The Thistle stitch is a beautiful and easy crochet stitch to work. It is made up primarily of double crochet stitches and works up quickly.

Lovely stitch! I will do a summer sweater in this stitch using a lightweight yarn, I think. Color is perfect for stitch, it shows off the intricacies of repeat pattern. 🤗

Perfect for spring. Looks like flowers and the purple is the color of the thistles plants that are just starting to come up in my yard.

This is a beautiful stitch, I would use it on a wrap. I will have to remember it, so I can make one with it. Right now I just have to many WIPS to start something new!

Hi Sarah. Love this stitch! I want to use this as a light weight scarf for spring. I think its would be pretty. This brings me to a question. I want to crochet a sampler quilt, but maybe something smaller for starters, using all flower and bloom and veggie and fruit/berry stitches. I do not know how to put that plan into motion because I don't know how to change the necessary number of base stitches needed for the different patterns. Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to do that? Some stitches want multiples of x + some and some need even numbers and some odd and do forth. I've tried this once and it gave up fairly quickly because I just couldn't figure out how to reset for the next pattern. Any help you can give would be amazing. I love your channel and you have become the only person I consistently watch. Your explanations are perfect for me to understand. Thanks so much for your help! 🌷🙂🦋

I am making a sampler sweater, by rows, not squares. Since I was just in Scotland last week, I'm adding a section of this. I love it. The color for this stitch in my sweater will match the Scottish rock walls and the natural sheep's wool. Thank you!

There’s interference in the video, right around 2:03. I’ve heard this here and there in other videos as well of yours. Is there any way to figure out what it is? Gorgeous stitch as well.
