It's refined and smooth with the Anodized coating. Only the weight is slightly rougher/not as smooth of a finish. But I think that is because mine is a pre production sample
Hi, I currently have a tester68 keyboard. I was thinking about swapping my switches and keys over to another board. I have gateron milky yellow switches. Would you recommend I swap it over to the GMK67 or Lucky65, or that I just stick with the Tester68? Or, if you have any other 60/65 keyboard recommendations, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
would you recommend this over the hi75 in terms of build quality and sounds? i also heard the sound consistency is better than the hi75. i currently am using a gmk67 and would like to upgrade an alu board
My spacebar is hanging up and does not return to the resting position. Open to suggestions. I've already attempted to reverse the spacebar and I've installed different switches. Should I be look to trim the stabilizer mounts, or inspect and re-lube? What's strange is the spacebar works perfectly fine when I flip the keyboard upside down and the typing surface faces the desktop surface.
its getting stuck on something. might be the poron foam under the plate is dislodged and hitting the stab wire? or did you mod your stabs with holee and the bandaid piece got dislodged? or maybe the stab wire is bent in a weird angle and caused it to get stuck?
great review! i have the sugar65, do you think i should get this as well? i am thinking of getting it but if it sounds and feels 90% similar to the sugar65 then maybe i'll consider other options
@@itssamueltan still doesn’t work, it recognized as a lucky65 dongle but it doesn’t pair to it I do see some post with the same problems so I came to ask you about it
Nice review, did you encounter any problem with the keyboard? Especially with the 2.4ghz and bluetooth functionality? Some people on reddit report that the wireless is pretty bad in this keyboard. Also, how is the keyboard compared to GMK67? (if you ever use GMK67)
The wireless functionality is okay, it just has to be closer to the dongle from my experience. As for the GMK67, I've done a video on it too, it's a great budget keyboard, but if you compare the two, I would prefer the Lucky65 because of the metal case.
aula f75 is a plastic board that is good for gaming considering its latency the leobog hi75 also has good latency too, but the aluminum finish wont be as good as this
@@itssamueltan I just registered with Taobao and no..... this is what it says "WEIKRV SUGAR65 Mechanical Keyboard Kit Wired Gasket CNC FR4 ¥684.1rise Starting from about USD 95.16" They didn't even spell the name Weikav correctly. There are no boards in that price range or even close for the USA. There pricing is actually higher then Aliexpress direct.
hi. i owned a M7W purple. And surprisingly, it is good. But, the stock stabs for the M7W is really scratchy so you need retuned and relubed. Maybe do some holee mode also. I havent tried the lucky65 i wouldnt know in term of sound signature compared with this board. maybe as sam suggest, if you looking for sound preference, maybe this one is to go.
Nice vid as always. I want to ask if i go to KL, where is the best place to look around mechanical keyboard? Also hoping you will review GMK61 because it's the one i'm interested to buy now. got bored with 65% lol.
@@itssamueltan yea for sure, i guess what i was trying to say is if anyone is looking for a budget board the sk71 is the way to go. The rainy 75 isnt $90 anymore either. Once they realized what they had they raised the price. The standard version i think is like $125 before shipping and tax.
Dude I've got a problem. It came today and I installed their software but I can't can't change the mapping of certain keys. Most of the keys don't want to be changed in their app while others do. I can't change FN to be alt or alt to be FN but also I can't change most of normal keys. Any suggestions?
