I never knew that this song existed before the smile... but I agree with you this has become my favorite The Smile song so far. But man bending hectic has really grown on me. This was cool to see.
Skirting On The Surface is the song he was trying to play at first but forgot. Open The Floodgates is the one he actually plays. Just to clear up any confusion.
The Smile released their album back in may, but I only now listened to it. Open The Floodgates have been playing all day for me, just can't stop replaying it. Such a beauty... This is going to be the song of the year for me, no doubt ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yyq-YwrUJhw.html
Fox theater April 15 2010 there was a volcanic eruption in Europe, he was told between the eraser set snd his solo set at the show that night. That all flights out of Europe were grounded- the ash was so thick - he told small crew of us fans outside after the show - he apologized that he forgot the song - the news erased his brain fir a minute - I miss seeing him in concert C
If I'm not mistaken, he was going to play Skirting On the Surface but failed to remember the lyrics, so he did Open the Floodgates (or whatever the song is called) instead
I fuckin LOVE Codex as well.. It almost helps me to transcend consciousness and puts me on that clear lake somewhere serene and secluded. Although there are very few radiohead remixs I find better then the original (or even in the same ballpark) you may enjoy the Codex remix by Henry Saiz. Nothing beats the original but it's does the song justice in my opinion.
