Thomas and Friends the Tank Engine Characters in Real Life
Thomas & Friends (originally known as Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends or Thomas the Tank Engine; also known as Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! in the twenty-second series) is a British children's television series. In the United Kingdom, it had its first broadcast on the ITV network in Great Britain in 1984. In the United States, it had its first broadcast on Shining Time Station in 1989. It is based on The Railway Series of books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son, Christopher Awdry.
These books follow the adventures of a group of anthropomorphised locomotives and road vehicles who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The books were based on stories Wilbert told to entertain his son, Christopher, during his recovery from measles. Many of the stories from the first four series are based on events from Awdry's personal experience.

Hiro is my favorite Thomas the tank engine character I love ❤️ his Japanese accent. In one of the episodes he is in when Desile was bashing him and his Troublesome Trucks his Japanese accent showed the most when he said stop that in a ferm voice.

I think Henry wasn't based on anything, really, at least before he went to Crewe for his rebuild. Rumor has it, he was build off stolen schematics for a prototype.

Stolen designs from L.N.E.R. The Black 5 in the show, obviously Henry, was believed to have been sold to Sir Toppham Hat The First as a mixed traffic engine, but his boiler was to small and he was sick a lot and not powerful enough so they put him on Welsh coal which burned better. After he collided with the trucks while pulling the Flying Kipper, he had his boiler made a bit bigger and had no problems after that.
