My Dad used to sing this, he said he learned it from the "Tinkers" who would visit the village twice a year in his childhood. They repaired tin items and brass items as well as doing odd jobs for the farmers. My Grandparents house was where they often gathered together at night, playing violin and dancing. Dad loved those events of the year and had many stories which would be followed by this song. I love this version. Well done.👏👏
