Well, there's sort of a reason the Reverend tended to model the Northwestern Railway in sections, i.e. one layout was just Tidmouth , another was only the Ffarquhar branch, etc, all with hidden fiddle yards, as in OO gauge it takes up quite a lot of space. The upshot is that each section looks more realistic, but they lack continuous loops for mainline running. The only real solution is either going for a smaller scale, modeling the NWR virtually (where the only limit is computer power and hard drive space), or by doing what you're doing, breaking it all up into little vignettes of each location while having a continuous loop for running the trains. Personally I like what you're doing, you've obviously put a lot of care and thought into it.

What knapford station are you using? Is it your own custom build? Because I know you won't use Bachman knapford station because it only have space for 1 track. So what knapford station are you using?

All of these plans sound pretty amazing! But is there anything you can do to move Tidmouth Sheds and Knapford Station away from each other a little bit? In the last few drawings they seemed to be overlapping each other. But other than that, I am still extremely impressed that you are taking on such a huge project. Can't wait to see it. Good luck! :)

my recommendation is take the southern most birth off of the sheds so you have room for Knapford station building, I've noticed that they over lap on all your plans

Hi Elsbridge Productions this is Samuel here I was wondering do you have enough room for the Sodor's suspension bridge for your layout and also if you watched Thomas And Friends King Of The Railway that special has a old castle but I've bet you don't have that kind of space at the moment. And also if you do have enough room for your layout is there a chance that you could make the vicarstown bridge that goes to the mainland if you are going to watch Thomas And Friends The Great Race before it comes out on dvd maybe that movie will help your layout even better I'm just saying. and I remembered in season 2 of Thomas and Friends Tidmouth Station has a three branch line engines sheds for Thomas, Percy and Toby and if you watched Thomas Come To Breakfast where Thomas crashes into the station master's house there was two houses right next to the station master's house maybe if want to put that in your layout that will be alright. And also can you make the viaduct bridge for the main line that goes to Edward's station and if you do have space for your layout can you make Dryaw Station and Callion Station you know the scene season 4 of Thomas And Friends to the season 6 like Toad Stands By And Percy's Chocolate Crunch. I hope that's the info I can give you let me know okay.

Now do you plan to build Knapford, and Tidmouth Sheds by scratch Instead of say using the Bachmann Knapford/Tidmouth Sheds? From your Custom OO / HO Thomas & Friends Tidmouth Sheds video you did it showed you got the Hornby track connected to the Bachmann Tidmouth Sheds Round Table which... looks like you just connected them together or was it much harder because when I plan to do mine and thought about what type of track to use and I settled with the Hornby Track but then I thought, "Oh god I'll probably have to build Knapford and Tidmouth Sheds then" but from that video it showed I could just connect the two types and not have to build my own. Also I don't think you could use Bachmann Knapford Prebuild because of the Standing Platforms probably getting in the way of the track but with a view track modifications you probably could.
