This is the sound that made country great in the mid 80s to mid 00s and then it went the way of the dodo bird until luke combs kinda brought it back but this guy truly has brought back the GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY SOUND. Really like this guy hes perfect to drink a cold beer to while bbqin. Hopefully after he makes it big he doesnt lose the sound like everyone else on there 3rd album.
Chris Stapleton too. I don't think Blake Shelton went too far from this country sound either. But most "country" songs today, sound like 80's pop music without feelings behind the lyrics.
@@JapaneseSoomi each country has that thing whether it is a song or some monument or whatever the hell it is, it reminds him why they love their country
So true. I don’t have a problem with pop country, but I’ve been getting more into traditional country and I can see why so many people love it. It’s a classic sound that’s unbeatable paired with amazing storytelling lyrics. Morgan Wallen also has a great country sound to his songs. I highly recommend him.
This is real country music. As far as I am concerned he is a genius with the music he writes. And as we all know he loves his truck. As I love trucks myself. Thanks for the great music thomas. can't wait for more music from you
My friend showed me a snippet of this song and immediately looked it up. As a fan of traditional and current country, I love this song so much. The comedic aspect works so well with the old school country sounding production. Great song!
Just when I thought there where no more good wholesome country songs left to write. This guy along with Cooper Alan have rejuvenated a lost art. Young Alan Jackson’s with the internet to share their sounds. Hope you guys stick it out for the long haul.
For me it's the self awareness he has that most stadium country bands glaringly lack. He knows how ridiculous writing a song about a truck is and leans way into the ridiculousness of it instead of pretending to be sincere
I just discovered this dude and I honestly gotta say in my opinion he is like gold that ain’t been found yet, he should be way more popular than what he is I mean this guy is an awesome artist, he’s everything a good artist can be, he’s got humor in his songs, good instrumentals, extremely good vocally, like honestly I don’t gamble but I’ll bet a million dollars I don’t have that some day this guys gonna be hittin number 1 on the charts and makin it big soon man
This is my favourite Thomas Mac song. He is just overall a good artist and my favourite thing about him is that he rarely uses autotune, which shows that he has genuine talent and he reminds me of George Strait if he was a county rock singer.
I am absolutely in love with your voice and your songs!! You have the best country music voice to go up against the legends!! If you had been around when I was young, I would have bought one of 8-Tracks and played them while driving to school in MY pickup truck!!! Country girls love trucks too ya' know!!
I'll be real here: I don't even like most country music, but this is really good! I first found your channel from you showing this song to your parents. After listening to it a couple of times though, it makes more sense as you know how it all fits together (like if you watch a TV show or movie a few times, it all starts to make more sense than the first time you watched it)
Been a minute since there's been a good country song that I've been excited to hear. Been really missin that deep country twang instead of this new country hip hop shit most got going on today. Killin it and I hope to only see you grow, looks like it's already going in that direction! 😊
Finally, this certified banger has been officially released. Love ya tracks pal. Love the "Let's make (blank) country" skits as well. Keep up ya great work pal
Do you know who the Azov Battalion is, what they represent, who they worship, and what their ideology is? I thought so. It's sickening knowing people like you would follow others right off a cliff.
Im a new country music fan. After 25yrs of being a metal head, i finally been turned on to country music. Its all i listen to. And man! Your sound is amazing! I love that twang in your voice and the lyrics are slapping. Awesome man! Im a new fan of yours now! Liked/subbed
I’m so glad this guy wrote this song. This is the cliché of the “country song about loving your truck” brought to life in the most honest and authentic way, the way only someone who has heard a hundred truck-love songs can. 🎉🎉
