Israel is 100% legal and moral in fighting Hamas. Massie is morally wrong. His position strengthens terrorists who committed beastly acts of violence. Fine. Massie will see Sharia law force the women of Kentucky to wear head scarfs and veils. Get ready Kentucky.
Mr. Thomas Massie definitely got my attention. This man sounds like he’s an independent thinker. I respect anyone AIPAC doesn’t own. We the US tax payers pay the salary of our elected officials yet they’re own by a group that lobbies for Israel’s interest (foreign country). Don’t even get me started on the Billions of our hard earned taxes Israel receives.
@@jonathandoe2316 AIPAC & FARA Paul Baker American Political and News Junkie since Eisenhower Feb 16fara If you ask me, I’d say it certainly should be registered as a foreign agent under the ‘Foreign Agent Registration Act’ (FARA). I’m certain the reason we’d hear is, it’s classified in the United States as a 501(c)(4) ‘Social Welfare Organization’ by the IRS. By regulation, such a group can “engage in some political activities, so long as that is not its primary activity”. Well, that’s humorous. Politics seems to be what the ‘American Israel Public Affairs Committee’ (AIPAC) primarily engages in. There’s no secret that, while the people doing ‘the work’ are Americans, what AIPAC does politically is determined in Tel Aviv. Why AIPAC has never been registered as a foreign agent has been asked by many people for decades. I can only assume it’s influence is so great, so pervasive that it squashes anyone who even suggests there’s a controversy about it.
AIPAC needs to register as a foreign lobby org. They give money to about everyone in congress EXCEPT Massie. BTW we can like the Jewish people w/o liking or approving of the actions of Israel’s government.
Money to everyone but Massie, just because you heard him say it on Tucker Carlson show? Do you also believe him when he said the shutting down of the country during covid by Trump is something we may never recover from?
I am just an ordinary bloke. Not anti-Semitic, I have a Jewish girlfriend. I could see that there were TOO MANY CIVILIAN CASUALTIES by mid October. It's appalling.
@@BILLYRFCNO1 Exactly. They wear civilian clothing. They do that on purpose. They purposely use civilians as human shields, and also, civilians help them. Civilians are combatants. They are not innocent.
Thomas Massie is a brave man given his views on Israel. We respect that the ICC is a foreign institution and so is the UN, WHO, IMF, etc that the US supports. While TM does not support ICC going after US citizens, can he accept a complaint on a US citizen from the ICC as after all there is an Interpol which US is a participant ? Is the US citizen above international laws ?
@@mugs8306 You can stay deluded if you like, but there are crazy brave aid workers and journalists in there, who aren't spreading propaganda, they're reporting.
Thomas Massey is an American hero. The only true patriot in our government. The only politician that hasn’t committed treason against the country and American people. The only man with values and human compassion ❤
Most are enemy combatants. They are supporting Hamas's efforts. The hostages are being held by "civilians". They are combatants. They are NOT innocent victims.
The “Hague Invasion Act,” law authorizes the president to “use all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release” of a US or allied person (Netanyahu?)detained or imprisoned by the ICC.”......"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" (Animal Farm ) seems to be US Policy!
I guess the total population.. no exact figure but you got all of similar urban warfare that were fought and still going on in many countries ..I mean for reference
@morganjones7138 The first rule of war is survival. To survive you must you use force, legal is a secondary consideration. In times of war it's force-legal instead of legal-force.
It was always the pervy Israelis who used Palestinians as human shields: _"A case reached the Israeli Supreme Court that challenged the IDF policy known as the "neighbor procedure". This is the term for Israeli soldiers' using Palestinian civilians as human shields in order to protect soldiers during their operations from suspected booby traps or attacks by Palestinian militants. The Israeli Supreme Court in 2005 prohibited the "neighbor policy", saying that Israeli troops could not use Palestinians as shields._ _In May 2011, 24 former IDF soldiers provided testimony describing continued military use of the "neighbor procedure."_ Source: Wikipeda // *_'Breaking the Silence (organization)'_* // _'Relation to other activism'_
Why aren't more people angry at the surrounding countries of Gaza are refusing to allow refugee's into there country?????.......the dead civilians are on the surrounding countries not accepting refugee's....... very simple
NO country will help Israel with its ethnic cleansing. Any Palestinians who have left have never been allowed back by Israel. And Israel made it clear that it wanted to push all the Gazans out the Rafah gate. NO country volunteered to take them.
U do know gaza are only surrounded by israel in all sides except small part in the south where it has border with egypt, right? That border is partly controlled by israel as well. Evacuation are not as easy as news make it sound. Here in my country we have our humanitarian worker telling his story of multple attempts to evacuate before finlly making it. That was early in the war when idf were not that deep into gaza territory yet. I imagine it'll be far worse now. They actually put tanks and snipers in many spots in the road used to evacuate. They shot anyone of all ages passing those spots.
So they are basically trapped. U dont get to shift the blame from the perpetrator just like that. Very convinient I do blame most arab countries tho. Not bc I think theu responsible for the death. But because they barely take any action to put pressure on israel through sanction or other political means. Only yemen has my full respect
The question is not civilian casualties; the question is how does one define "civilian" when Hamas fighters dress as civilians and hide among civilian populations?
From 1948 to 1967 Egypt claimed Gaza as its own territory and ruled it. In 1967 it attempted to invade Isradl from Gaza, and lost. Egypt should take Gaza back and order its security services to get rid of Hamas. Shame on them for not doing so. Gaza was an Egyptian city going right back to the era of the Pharaohs.
@@mugs8306 No it wasn't. There was Judah, which appeared now and again and was in and out of the Assyrian and Babylonian empires. It was in an area known mostly as Palestine. There was no place called Israel 3000 years ago.
@@alanwatterson2850 That is absolutely FALSE!!!! The word "palestine" didn't even exist in Biblical times. It was given by the Romans, because they wanted to re-identify that area. They didn't like the name Israel, because they didn't like the history. And yes, the entire country, which was divided between the 12 tribes (named after the 12 sons of Jacob) was called Israel. The entire nation was called the "Israel". It was only after the northern tribes separated from the southern tribes that the southern area became known as Judea. The northern area was still called Israel (House of Israel) until the Assyrians invaded and exiled the northern tribes. It's all documented on earlier maps. You clearly don't know the history, and you clearly don't know the Bible.
So acc to Massey Israel should continue to send its soldiers "door to door" because otherwise the Gazan civilians will hate them. lol. It seems Massey thinks that up to and incl Oct 7 they or their reps had loved Jews and only burst through the gates to join the festival and sing koombaya in harmony.
I love how u people always bring up how Pal-less-tiny-an hate Isrli and use that as justification to committ all type of insane things toward them. Like, are you expecting these people to not hate their oppresors and keep loving them instead after all what they did and still doing to their people? Seriously only narcisstic self entitled brats will expect that. Every sane human being would expect to be hated doing what they've been doing. In fact I find these people to be remarkably patient. I'll show far more rage had I've been in their position.
If ICC does not apply to the US, then why is the US using it against other countries? If some laws are only apply to others and not the US, then wouldn't that make the US an apartheid state on the world community stage?
God's Word says that if come against His people that He will bring a curse against you. But that if you bless them and pray for their peace you will be blessed . That land and much more of it God gave them and will fulfill His promises in the near future ! 🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
He isn't antisemitic... he is just one of the few politicians not owned by AIPAC... so when you see someone not giving special treatment you think it's discrimination! I have no problem with Isreal defending itself... but be honest, we went to war with Serbia over civilian casualties...(I think we treated Serbia badly considering their situation and disagree with our actions in Yugoslavia) but be real, if this was another country besides Isreal they would be getting sanctions! Also Massia appears to be speaking against the international Criminal Court having any jurisdiction over Isreal....
AIPAC own them. Rand definitely has a handler and Tulsi is pro-war when it comes to Israel which basically means she's just another Neocon pretending not to be.
Wow....The MIC is trying hard...There's bills each and every week for their wars, but ZERO on US border, zero on crime, zero on addressing inflation, etc., etc
We already have to many laws on crime, we have more people incarcerated than any other country, we have government over reach of authority exercising powers not granted to them, turning God endowed Rights into privileges and crimes. They were created to sure our basic rights to Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but they are always interfering in these basic rights. They have the duty to protect one fellow man from another fellow man and any act that has not or that they can't prove will without a doubt will cause harm to another fellow man is not within their powers to limit or prohibit. Otherwise no one so would be imprisoned for an alleged victimless non-injury crime other than on a proven conspiracy or caught in the act in an attempt to commit murder or treason.
I'm certainly not leaning Republican. That said, Mr. Massie definitely earned my respect, if for nothing else, it's just for his integrity and consistency on this matter.
there's a difference between neo-conservative and paleo-conservative. the latter is the one you want, the former is basically Democrat. youtube "The Neocons vs Paleoconservatives - How They Are Different and Why It Matters"
@@DisgustedAussie I have never indicated that I support terror and never will. If you want to pretend that Netanyahu hasn't slaughtered over 30,000 non-combatants and think Hamas committed terrorism (which they clearly did) and the IDF hasn't, then I'm disgusted in your deliberate ignorance.
