totally are with you, i use mine all the time, and its built to last, I would say this is my favourite study bible along with the TCR bible thanks for your support God Bless
Yessss! I have this exact bible! I couldn’t remember which one it was because I got two, instantly didn’t like one and gave it away. adored this one. Such a nice readable text and fits well on the lap. Great review!
I really enjoyed your review here... I never noticed the ribbons being one sided satin before... I like how you moved on away from the ribbon disappointment... I know you were thinking...:what is this?".. right?... but watching you move pasr it trying not to show.. your bit of disgust sort of cheered me up really.. and when you said the word "yous"... shortly after that..... I was about rolling.... I love your accent... is it a bit of a Cockney accent?...it really makes your videos worth watching and listening to....I have never seen humidity cause a bible cover to curl up ... pages yes... especially indexed ones.. that is why I quit buying indexed bibles years ago... you DO realize you were comparing the Holman Leatherflex to a Nelson... leather... correct?... I wonder if the Holman leather is closer to the exact size of the Nelson.. than the Holman Leatherflex is?..
Thanks Gypsy, we are reviewing in sync! Great Bible, would love to see all of the Study material and notes from this edition in a separate leather bound book, I think it would be interesting. Also would love to see TN do a wide margin version of either this or any Bible. God bless
@@gypsylane8723 yeah I went through a stage when I bought a lot of reference Bibles and study Bibles 😮 I got the Thompson Chain, the Henry Morris, the Ruckman reference, the sword Study Bible, I did reviews on my channel if you want to check them out, but I've gone back to the text only it seems like the Lord speaks to me better and I'm not distracted, buy notes if that makes any sense, love your videos Lord bless you
Nelson has done a lot of work on this study Bible! I have an old wide margin edition of this, purchased around 1994. As you said, all black and white. The new one looks attractive, particularly those photos. KJV Onlyists aren't going to be happy with the translation notes. Thanks for showing it!
christopher davis I haven't highlighted in it but I wouldn't have a problem using highlights, I use Zebrite highlights and micron pens, I'd use them in this bible with a problem, I think the paper is some of the best paper I've seen in a study bible.
Im thinking of getting one im comparing two diffrent ones can you show me what it says under jeremiah 10 1-5 please? If you still have it i know its a year later
Ace Smooth hello, I have a 1979, Tyndale text with concordance, bought in the early 80s. It has served me very well and is just now being put to rest. The pages are coming loose and is finally giving up the ghost. I will use it for reference as it is fully highlighted with love and inspiration. I ordered the T/N reference in imitation leather, due in today. Will take another 30 yrs. to break this one in if the Lord lets us go on that long. God Bless!
