Thomas Quasthoff: Mozart - Papageno's Aria from "The Magic Flute" 

One of the reasons listening to Thomas Quasthoff is such a delight, is the fact that he sings with superb phasing of the words. As a Dane with a shaky German, it is such a joy to hear the words! Bravo 🙌

One of my favorite singers to listen to and watch. His face is pure joy when singing.

I love Quasthoff's combination of vocal beauty, verbal inflection and subtle facial expressions adding layers of emotion and thought to his interpretations. Would love to hear/see his performances of Schubert's Winterreise and Schoene Mullerin!

In reading into the history of the thalidomide scandal and history, I learned about Thomas Quasthoff, only seven years younger than I. This is the first time I've seen and heard him. What an amazing, beautiful and expressive singer.

I have found a number of great artists that I just can't get enough of - Thomas Quasthoff, Franco Fagioli, to name a few. Where, one might ask? Why, on RU-vid, of course!

Thomas has really a very fine voice: congratulations for him! His voice remembers me the same pleasant voice as Richard Tauber, although this last one was a tenor and note bass-baritone.

I was brushing up my mind and updating my pharmacy knowledge and stumbled upon this by chance, I was searching for Thalidomide tragedy on RU-vid, Invetro exposure to certain type of toxicants during pregnancy. And finally ended up her. What a beautiful singer

I have never understood as an American why anyone considers Germanic Slavic Or Euralic languages to be gutteral and nasty sounding. I think the Magic Flute sounds beautiful sung in German as Mozart intended it to be. And German Slavics and Euralic languages I think are beautiful when spoken.
