I hear this multiple times a day while working at Texas Roadhouse and I still find myself singing and dancing along every time! Then every few shifts I’ll have it stuck in my head when I get home and listen to it even more. That’s how you know a song is REAL good!!

I played this for a few friends at a little get together who don’t even like country and they were like who sings that… they were like we did not expect you to play that and sing a song that beautiful at the same time. Song lives rent free in my head on repeat daily. Always brings me up when I’m down.

My Stepdaughter passed away from Cancer on this day last year. This was one of her favorite songs. She was 25. I never liked Country until now. Missing you Sweetie!

I work at a casino where they play music videos all day/night long. This song comes on from time to time, last night I saw that one of the older employees was mesmerized by the music video and the song, I said to her “good song, huh?” I didn’t even know who sang it or what it was called. She asked me if I knew and I said I didn’t. So I shazamed it for her and I caught the attention of other employees and they all said thank you to me because they were wondering what the song was as well. It was a pretty wholesome moment because we all had no idea about the artist but loved the song.

The fact that country is now this beautiful mix breed of music proves that these artist that were once just being introduces to the "country" genre are now proving to be true musicians. Now don't misunderstand me when I say that. They have always been musicians but to me I think a musician should have no set genre. Music is music. Genre is just a word to organize songs into categories that would most fit the listeners listening style. Music is ever changing and we don't like change. But if you can take a song, slap a country tag on it, classify a sub genre into it such as pop or rock then your not only appealing to one specific style of listener but creating a new fan base of different listeners and creating something new and awesome... so why not?

Dude you are awesome and I love how you have taken your family and have had them involved with it all! Keep doing what you are doing dude! To me you are the best musician out there! Hands down without a doubt. I have found it a habit to listen to your music as soon as I put the radio on. PS, I took my wife and daughters to see your concert at Met Life Stadium last month. I know that it was a Kenny Chesney Tour but at the end of the day we really all were there to see you!
