@@Cosmos6745 Do you not think the majority of pranks were harmless and were met with kinder reactions even just a few years ago? Pranks I see on Tiktok and Instagram now seems to boil down to pissing people off in hopes to get a reaction so you can play the victim influencer. Most of these guys getting kicked out of places are serial offenders. They come into the same shops vandalising stuff and annoying staff until they are known for it.And even if it wasn't that same influencer, these people framed in videos as some sort of villain are just regular people working their jobs who don't want to be in these videos and don't want to clean up some mess you are going to make for views! Maybe it's just getting older and trying to remember my teens as better but this doesn't feel like my nostalgia is blinding me. I remember being on a site called 9gag and was called toxic and was assumed to be an Internet troll by quite a few people online and IRL so I remember getting in arguments similarly to today. But it was nowhere near as frequent and people didn't seem as diehard about their stance on EvErY subject.!!! ( A bit hypocritical of the guy who's writing a frickin book in a comment section though haha )
Not for no reason. This was the golden era of RU-vid. No algorithms, no click bait, no hate and fear mongering. No social or political agendas. Just great people with awesome ideas for pure entertainment. Exactly what social media was designed for. Now it's tainted, twisted and perverse. And the world seems hollow and cold because of it.
People typically say that when jokes have a little edge to them, or are just offensive, but this is neither of those, this guy is probably one of the least problematic viners ever
i think cuz so many people started doing really malicious pranks and filming people against their will and it got out of hand, so people put their guard up now whenever someone pulls out a phone :( its understandable but sad all the same.
