I actually really like the idea of Thomas basically going back down his branch line as the outro. It fits really well since he’s basically going the opposite way as the intro. I think it just kinda raps everything together at the end of an episode. Very nice 👌
I liked it when on some old videos you had the static image being of the last frame of the episode, I don't know how to explain it but it sort of gave you a reminder of what the episode was about and how it ended before it passed to the intro of the next one. Then they all got replaced with the static image of Thomas looking at the camera not taken from any episode with his eyes shifting as the credits end that got really boring. However my favourite Thomas credits were the ones on an American VHS of the first 7 episodes which had cue cards for 5 engines or vehicles that would change between the episodes, only having to play the theme once instead of twice for outro and then another intro. The one exception being in the opening of the first episode which was "Thomas Gets Tricked" (the title for "Thomas and Gordon" in the US) that featured the original classic intro with the windmill and normal credits (but different format for writing in America) and the ending of the last episode for "Thomas Saves The Day" (the title for "Thomas and the Breakdown Train" in the US) that was a freeze-frame of the last shot like the other old VHS tapes. That way, it started and concluded in the classic way but had cue cards in between every episode followed by an announcement of The Fat Controller on-screen saying "Next episode coming up..." and then as the episode started the title would pop up on-screen without too much music and credits.
@@Collin51711 It was all the characters from Season 1 on my VHS basically including the ones that had yet to be introduced after the first 7 episodes based on the first 2 books which were Terence, Bertie, Percy and Toby
@@danieljosephbestguy5990 ikr i was watching a dvd and forgot that toby was in season 1 (idk how…) so i was confused that he was on a name board but then i realized lol
It was Sad Rango Starr Only Recorded The First Two Series of Thomas On TV and The LadyBird AudioBooks But From What I Have Heard in A Documetry Michael Angulas Who Also Came From Liverpool Thankfully Narrated The Series Afterwards Later on PS Love You Rango and The Last Of The Music Band of The Bettles Thanks.
I'm aware of that. I unfortunately couldn't find any footage of Thomas travelling under the bridge he does in the opening in the opposite direction, so I made the decision to settle for another one. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. :)
I don't think any footage exists (that we know of at least) of Thomas going under the bridge in the intro in the opposite direction. Henry does in Whistles And Sneezes, but never Thomas.
Yeah, I think it is so cool you made the episodes end like this I never once thought of this. What made you come up with the ideas exactly? Also, I'm so glad you added the Clearwater Productions logo because nowadays people (for whatever annoying reason), always say that Thomas is owned by both Hit and Mattel (which is true because he is now, but back then he was owned by Clearwater, Britt Alcroft, Gullane, and Anchor Bay Studios so I am super duper shocked that they also don't even mention their names as well as both Hit and Mattel because these 4 companies originally made Thomas not both Hit and Mattel, Hit and Mattel just ruined the series is all).
It is true that Clearwater and Britt Allcroft Productions owned the television rights to adapt the Railway Series (aka, they owned Thomas for TV - think the books were still owned by Egmont at this point) when the series began production in the early 80s. Clearwater closed in 1991, leaving Britt Allcroft Productions (BAP) as the sole owner. Following Thomas and the Magic Railroad, BAP became Gullane pictures, who for a time produced Thomas for HIT before being bought outright by HIT in the mid-2000s. From that point, HIT owned Thomas & Friends and produced it and a bunch of other shows (Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina etc) until 2012 when acquired by Mattel. HIT would continue producing Thomas for Mattel until 2016, when Mattel acquired HIT and its properties outright. So yes, Mattel owns Thomas nowadays: BAP, Clearwater Features and even HIT don't exist as individual companies anymore. I've never heard of Anchor Bay Studios; what did they have to do with Thomas? The rights ownership of the books is even more complicated - I know that nowadays the rights to the entire series is owned by Mattel who license the publisher (Egmont I think now) to reprint the original 26 (never the Christopher ones) every now and again. How it ended up there I've no idea.
@@TheBritFromOz008 well it ended up like this because you just said silly Mattel bought the rights to Hit, who weren't the original owners of Thomas. Instead, Britt and Gullane were. Also, Anchor Bay Entertainment (not Studios my bad), was a company that came out in 1985 that made and distributed movies of their own. How they have to do with Thomas exactly is between 1995 and 2008 they distributed US versions of Thomas VHS tapes and DVDs. Why they chose to do that, Idk exactly as that company just chose to distribute Thomas out of nowhere (as a die-hard Thomas fan I'm surprised you haven't heard of them, man). Lastly, have you heard of VCI (Video Collection International)? They were responsible for distributing Thomas VHS tapes and DVDs in the UK between 1995 and 2005. In the US, they were known as Strand VCI Entertainment and were around before the UK brand because the US brand distributed the first 5 Thomas VHS tapes ever made and released between the years 1990 and 1991.
@@SuperDavidBrothers I grew up in Australia - Anchor Bay Entertainment never distributed any Thomas videos here (hence why I’ve no idea who they were) and neither did VCI as far as I know. A vast majority, if not all, of the Thomas VHSs in Australia were instead distributed by the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) who have done so since the first Australian release in 1987. And yes, BAP (which later became Gullane) and Clearwater Productions were the first owners of Thomas on TV, but they’re not now; Mattel are. That’s what I was trying to say above.

The clips used are from Thomas and Bertie and Thomas and the Guard. I found a web page where someone had transcribed the Series 1 credits and copied and pasted them into the video editing software.
On my computer. The footage is ripped from the Thomas series 1 DVD. The credits were copied and pasted from a website I found them on. The end cards were from the Thomas Wiki. It was edited in Movavi Video Suite.
The clips are from the episodes Thomas and Bertie and Thomas and the Guard. I found a website that had the series one closing credits transcribed, so I copied and pasted those in and formatted them how I wanted them.
