Can you name all three Thomas characters that appear in this video?
Thomas The Tank Engine was my favorite show as a kid. I can still go back and watch the classic series with much fondness. The sets and the music captivated me as a kid. I suppose they still do. I haven't been able to get this theme out of my head since I was five!
Here's my take on the Thomas The Tank Engine theme, done in a ragtime/saloon style. I enjoyed testing my video editing skills and combining the "My Little Buttercup" scene from "Three Amigos" with the Thomas character faces. The end result it rather... strange.

It's Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy the Small Engine where the two dancing, Montague the Great Western Engine was the one playing the piano. (Montague is Duck's real name, Duck is his nickname, on the count of him looking like he waddling when he's moving.)

I kind of wish that cascading ending was just a little slower so we could get the full effect of it, but otherwise this is fantastic, and a brilliant bit of work!

@@ryanspotato3117 ah yes, I think Toby would have worked as well. I think I chose Duck because I like the dynamic of him with Thomas and Percy in the series. He often takes on a leadership role due to his knowledge, but can still be a bit daft at times.

@@AvitalShtap Thanks so much for all the kind words! An old tavern is perfect imagery for this rendition! The video was certainly a lot of editing work but well worth it haha. The piano is actually just an average spinet piano! I put metal tacks in each of the hammers to produce that honkytonk sound. (Sometimes it is called a tack piano.) There are lots of videos that explain it more in depth. It's a super cool effect!

"Three Amigos" is a favorite of mine. It's utterly silly and I definitely recommend it!! The scene in the movie where this dance sequence is taken from is hilarious.
