A Sleigh Ride In my 64 using literally on things which are obviously literal is stupid. An example of when you would use it is when you are going to say something that sounds metaphorical but you mean it in a literal sense. For example, a joke mr fantastic told the human torch: “You’re on fire! Uh... literally.” On fire is metaphorical for being good, being on a roll. But in this case he is literally on fire. This dumb hoe used literally when it wasn’t metaphorical in any way.
