It's so rare to find an actor who literally looks, talks, thinks and acts fire. Anne Hathaway is that person. Like literally. After Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett I'm obsessed with this one.
Yes indeed, she's the Hollywood's sweetheart. Cate is a chameleon actor, Meryl is more like an imitative actor, meanwhile Anne she's using her personality to fill in the character she played.
I'm ready for the wave of Ottessa Moshfegh adaptations! Also, so glad she worked on the screenplay! Very interested in seeing how it's translated from book to screen.
@@reignawilliamsno not yet, it was part of sundance festival. Probably they're gonna release this in fall since it has a chance for awards esp. the actings
Just finished watching this movie. My first time seeing Thomasin Mackenzie. Her performance was so captivating in this role. Also, that Boston accent was spot on-I really thought they had hired a Bostonian to play that role!
I have to say I didn’t enjoy Eileen because I just found it really disturbing and hard to read unfortunately. however, I do think the story will translate better on film so I am excited for the movie!!
