Here is a video that was once a huge Country hit, but as soon as I went to get a copy, it literally fell off the face of this earth. Finally, after almost 8 years disappearance, it reappears!
This song saved our lives. When we went anywhere in the car with our newborn son it had to be playing or else he screamed the whole trip, he hated the car seat.
WOW. sooooo many memories this song & vid brings back. very cool. It sucks these guys arent seen anymore. when this came out, they were set apart from EVERYONE else but not mainstream. I think it was because they had personality. i cant say that the band had anything to do with the video but when watching it, i can tell they dug it and and went with it. expressions on their faces makes the vid even better. great song and vid, thanks for posting it
OMG I was 12 years old when I heard this song the first time and love it still even now. lol...Thanks so much for posting this. I loved the talking animals. hahaha
I remember this video being played on CMT, when I was a little girl! It also could've been something VH1 would've played, if they had a country episode of "Pop Up Video".
one of the best country songs ;) wish these guys had a longer stay...crazy, cool and abstract, VERY COOL! just what 'counrty' needed back then and deff now!
They still tour occasionally as the Massacoustics. They also did some work as the Thompson Brothers/Thompson Brothers Band, and as the Lucky Bucks. They still do writing and playing with other musicians to this day. I have ALL the CDs from each entity they have contributed to. Great guys, great musicians....
Great video and thanks for posting! I thought of these guys while I was reading an article about Rascal Flatts success. The Thompson Bros. should have been as popular!
@@catdriver1527 I came up with concept of here come the mummies when the Thompson’s wanted to go on stage with paper bags on their heads to play new music that we wrote. That was in 2000-02
Thanks so much for adding this, I come in monthly looking for it and it's awesome to see it. I have it on VHS around somewhere but don't have the tech to put it on DVD. SO THANK YOU. This is the song and video that first got me hooked on Matt and Andy's music and while we've never seen them live up here, we still follow them via RU-vid uploads and buying their CDS
They have a newer album out titled 'Old State Road'. I bought it from Rhapsody. It either came out in 2009 or 2012 (it says both). It's difficult to find out anything about it, but it has 20 (20!) tracks of excellent music. Give it a try if you can find it!
