Mr Francis, have stated that Elaine is a finely tuned athlete, who need special training and special medical care which MVP have successfully mastered however, neither Elaine or others in her camp, seems to realise how important this is! I think people need to listen when Mr Francis speak, because he is 99% right most of the time.

What has Elaine achieved since leaving MVP. I will admit to being a layman where coaching is concerned. However, there is no denying the obvious facts. Just stating it how I see it. I really love her. Disappointing 😢

Elaine had been injury prone from after the 2015 World Championships….whether her husband is the problem that’s their business to figure out not ours! Everyday unnu get up pon the girl back! A same way when Shelly got pregnant unnu counted her out! Jamaicans cannot be please unnu dirty crab inna barrel unnu be! Get well Elaine! I love and appreciated all that you’ve contributed to the Team Jamaica! From 2015 mi a cheer for you when long foot Daphne she push out her head! Mi still a cheer and wish the best for you Elaine!!!

My biggest concern is they knew that Elaine is injury prone. Why then choose a team/coach that ONLY prepare such a top class athlete to run without any nooooo plans for injury. Weren’t we all aware that Olympics was coming? It seems as if the plan in place was for everything else except the injury. I pray for her psychological health more than anything else at this point

@@alcia3208 Keeping as much of her $$ was the priority and LOTS of people agreed with her when she left. Oral Tracy basically accused Franno of robbery because he peeped over a fence and "heard" that MVP cost her 45% of her contracts. ETH and her team were hoping they could get away with the bare minimum and still perform at a high level but if you listen to what Noah Lyse said....about half of his income goes to his medical/physical therapy and nutrition. That is just to STAY healthy. Now with someone like ETH she would need to pay a LOT more for her to perform. Cant fix a Ferrari with Nissan parts and expect it to run at its peak. Nissan parts cheaper but.....

I don’t care. Elaine is legend anyway. Jamaica has 2 greatest legends: Bolt - Olympic Hat-trick Elaine - Olympic Double. Both of them will be remembered for a long time as a Jamaican GOAT in the world of sprinting.

Elaine Thompson is such a first class lady, and brings dignity to the sport. I hope she seeks out Dan Pfaff for the latter stages of her career; if any coach in the world can get her to full fitness and health, it's him.

After 11.30 and 11.48s run, the writing was on the wall andETH made the right decision. She was not a factor this year. If she gets healthy and manages the achilles, she could be back to the top next year.

From America .. Very saddened to hear this news. Elaine is a great competitor and we have always enjoyed watching her skill and excellence. You always want to compete against the best.. and it is clear one of the best has been sidelined. We wish Elaine quick and complete healing and look forward to her return.

@@ILOVEMONEY1618 I'm Sorry, she failed you guys how? As the only woman in the world to be a double Olympic champion in both 100m and 200m. She basically cemented Jamaica Dominance in the Global Scale just like Usain Bolt. Trust me she deserves better than you guys always complaining and shaming her.
