I never heard it before either but its soaking in "Welcome to the 90s" I only had enough $ for so many albums and this was long aft Joe left and they weren't N W anymore.

O. Shit. The Thompson Twins??!! I had totally erased them from my memory, unfortunately. They were freaking awesome!! This song possibly made me turn wild in 10th grade. 😆 (not with a sugar daddy tho) Damn I get to relive it all again! ❤️❤️
I always loved this song. I felt that with this album, they went out on a High note. Well, in the USA, we never heard them release any more albums after this one. They were popular as a British Invasion band in the USA and there were a lot of those back then. I know that I enjoyed some of their music, especially, "Hold Me Now".
The Thompson twins were a super group...not many people realise how talented and clever the Thompson twins were...they wrote their own songs...played their own instruments..had their own style and fashion trend..1980s British pop at its best. When you have the Thompson twins greatest hits you have 20 wonderful songs to reminisce about..even though Thompson Twins had more songs that that
Yeah right? Really sad that they did not evolve and survive the 80s and grow to me a mega act, churning out more good music to match the times. I feel like they could have, Such a waste. They were one of my fave 80s acts. I have this on 12" with the remix even Nothing In common, both of which were not hits for them but really good songs.
