Anfang Februar haben wir eine Minikreuzfahrt von Kiel nach Oslo gemacht. Um die Hauptstadt Norwegens nicht nur für vier Stunden zu erleben, haben wir eine Nacht in dem Thon Hotel Spectrum übernachtet. Das drei Sterne Hotel war für uns die absolut richtige Wahl. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Shoppingmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und natürlich die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Oslo sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wer mit einer Fähre der Color Line anreist, erreicht das Hotel in ca. 35 Minuten zu Fuß und sieht dabei bereits die ersten Sehenswürdigkeiten Oslos. Wer es lieber etwas bequemer mag nimmt einfach den Stadtbus. Eine Haltestelle ist unmittelbar am Fähranleger.
Der Bahnhof ist keine 500m entfernt und innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, dem steht direkt neben dem Hotel das Spektrum P-Hus, Time Park - Parkhaus zur Verfügung.
Das Hotel ist ruhig am Rande von Oslo City gelegen. Bus, Straßenbahnen und U-Bahn Haltestellen liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Wir hatten für uns ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht. In unserem Zimmer war ein Doppelbett 180x200 cm und für unsere Tochter wurde das Sofa zur bequemen Schlafgelegenheit. Ein modernes Bad mit Dusche, Kaffee-/Teebar, und eine Bügelstation sorgen für einen kleinen zusätzlichen Luxus.
Das Zimmer und auch das ganze Hotel sind sehr modern und etwas extravagant eingerichtet. Personal am Empfang, Frühstück und die Reinigungskräfte waren alles sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Ein absolutes Highlight war das Frühstück. Wir haben schon in einigen Hotels übernachtet, aber dieses Frühstück übertraf dabei alles.
Wir waren rundum glücklich mit unserer Wahl dieses Hotels und würden es bei einem zweiten Aufenthalt in Oslo auf alle Fälle wieder buchen.

At the beginning of February we made a mini cruise from Kiel to Oslo. In order to experience the capital of Norway for more than just four hours, we stayed one night at the Thon Hotel Spectrum. The three stars hotel was absolutely the right choice for us. The location is very central. Shopping, restaurants and of course the sights of Oslo are within walking distance. If you arrive by ferry of the Color Line, you can reach the hotel in about 35 minutes on foot and see the first sights of Oslo. If you prefer it a little more comfortable, just take the city bus. There is a bus stop right next to the ferry terminal.
The train station is less than 500m away and can be reached within a very short time. If you come by car, you can use the Spektrum P-Hus, Time Park car park right next to the hotel.
The hotel is quietly located on the outskirts of Oslo City. Bus, tram and metro stops are in the immediate vicinity.
We had booked a triple room for us. In our room was a double bed 180x200 cm and for our daughter the sofa became a sleeping accommodation. A modern bathroom with shower, coffee-tea bar, and an ironing station provide a little extra luxury.
The room and the whole hotel are very modern and a bit extravagantly furnished. Reception staff, breakfast and cleaners were all very friendly and attentive.
An absolute highlight was the breakfast.
We have stayed in quite a few hotels, but this breakfast topped everything.
We were completely happy with our choice of this hotel and would definitely book it again on a second stay in Oslo.
