Thor is the winner from the Software and Game Development category in the 2024 Streamer Awards. Clip taken from the Streamer Awards live stream: www.youtube.co...
i adore how humble he is, even in his moment of glory he took the time to do what he does best. inspire others. i looked through twitter and seeing all the love and support from not just fans but also fellow creators and game devs is beautiful to see.
Apparently he had to on a government job where he used to hack power plants. But he did say that he didn't like it too much and it felt too "Hollywoody" (paraphrasing a bit)
the reason why he won. is most likely because the guy does nothing but piss out wholesome content. hes single handedly got me back into coding and game design. all he does is support people who ask for it and the guys just nice. pays his mods full wage and even set up a donation system for them. long live the goblin king
I can't believe we've come so far... to be able to create such lifelife humanoid simulants. Thortomaton 2.0 is the most believable bot I've seen to date. It most definately deserves an award.
Very much deserved! I am proud to be a part of this goblin filled community! It's refreshing to have someone who is genuinely authentic and is not concerned with anything other than making games and lifting people up. I cant recommend watching his content enough. No matter where you are in life, even if you dont want to make games, I guarantee he will share information or give direction that can be applied to some part of your life. Congratulations Thor!!
His hair kept getting in front of his face. He moved the hair away the first time, but apparently thought it was too awkward to keep doing it, so the second time he faked a glasses adjustment to get the hair away. The third time he didn't have any tricks left, so he just had to let the hair win :D
Pirate Software is like if a Carebear came to life, became a man and some how also absorbed the hair of Poison form the 80's and the wisdom of Solomon and then decided to stream and share it all with the world.
I was looking for this video but I was searching for Thor and not PirateSoftware. Let's just say I had to scroll over A LOT of marvel crap to get here ;)
@@sicksock435446 He doesn't. Search about men second puberty, then look for a live where he mounts a new chair on his channel and search for "pirate software voice change"
@@jhonm6347 The vtubers that were nominated in the Software & Game Dev category do in fact stream Software & Game Dev related stuff. For example, CodeMiko has made her own game, Mikoverse (among other stuff), and Vedal has made an AI that fully controls the Vtuber model (so basically there are 2 characters on stream, the actual human and the Vtuber, and they talk to each other).
Dude will never finish a game, though, cause then he wouldn’t have an excuse to stream and lead people on. I feel like this is a whole tactic and category of content-creators now, to just sell a promise and make that promise last as long as you can. He’s also just demonstrating why Early Access is problematic.
@@michaelmonstar4276 There's a LOT more to his streams than just developing Heartbound. He also works on other stuff on stream, plays games, answers people's questions about various topics and discusses other stuff. He doesn't always work on Hearbound on stream (especially on parts where there are spoilers that he doesn't want us to see), and when he finishes that game, there's still a TON more to watch him for. I know, cause I watch his streams daily.
