Kyle when people explaining to him: Yeaahh.. Right, right.. Sureee. I see.. Ahh.. Gotcha.. Yup.. Nice.. Okay.. Ah nice.. Great.. LMAO, same Kyle same...
Yeah !!! And what's the RMA process on all existing tech ??? @Asus : no respect for customers == no more money from customers @Bitwit : Kyle I'm disappointed in you for not asking about the RMA decable. Or did Asus sponsor you on the condition that you wouldn't ask anything about that ???
@@Yves_Cools he's just there for the tech. i don't think he was planning to investigate asus about that, and especially not asking a guy that's probably not even involved in the RMA process. GN already got all of that covered
Oh my sweet summer child, your knowledge of the keyboard enthusiast world must be only surface level if you think $500 for a keyboard as feature-rich as that is "madness"
CAMM2 RAM in ITX motherboards will be soo cool for SFF builds and you can just use same RAM for Desktop and laptop simplifying the product line and costumer will have one less thing to worry about. I think it's a very cool idea
"You couldn't do this without having two keyboards"... yes, and for $500, you can easily buy two keyboards! Seriously, you can buy two of Keychron's top end keyboards for the price of this thing.
1:58 not sure if this makes sense, but maybe run the cable along the tubes so the connectors are on the radiator? Usually the fan cables are against the case in some way and are much easier to hide than on the block by the CPU
The case with the GPU hanging out is dangerous. Some ones Dog or cat is going to put there nose in it. I could see myself grinding my knuckles on it, Ouch. ;)
Ok hear me out, connectors should be on the radiator because youre already gonna be plugging fans in and running cables. so non proprietary connectors there. BUT you still gotta make a connection to the pump, so run a proprietary braided cable between the pump and rad, the same length as the tubes, terminate on noth ends to make replaceable.
Unless traditional motherboards (those that have 4 slots for RAM sticks) start coming with two CAMM2 slots, the adoption of this new form factor for RAM is going to be hard on the consumer for upgradability + plus e-waste. going from 16 to 32 one will need to ditch the 16 and buy in a whole new 32gb module instead of adding just another 16gb to our rigs. That box with the GPU mounted outside of the main case seems really nice, as for the AIO using standard cables is always preferred. Overall lots of cool things coming out.
Going by JJ's voice, it sounds like Paul got to do his tour long before Kyle did. My throat hurts just listening to him talk lol. Maybe I'm missing the point but what exactly is 'BTF' about the AIO with the giant screen? I'm seeing cables and tubes sooo...I'm surprised they didn't stick 'AI' on there somewhere too. I really like the BTF mini ITX builds though, they look so sleek! Of course, none of this matters if ASUS doesn't put an end to their RMA shenanigans...
I'm at work so I haven't even watched this yet, I just had to comment that this is by far your best thumbnail ever 11\10. My one hand is applauding you.....😊
Now, that's smexy! Thor UPS!! Take my wallet please! 😂 I like it!! Feed back on camm2. It has to have RGB or put a screen on it with a fan hidden beneath to help with cooling. The biggest thing that concerns me is if imc's are going to be more thoroughly binned to be capable of those types of speeds on a broad scale. Lastly, the price has to be competitive. Are these mobos and camm2 kits going to be insanely expensive? If they are going to be super expensive, then I'll gladly wait for the tech to become common place with normal pricing. I love the concept and the benefits it seems to bring in terms of performance. I'm definitely interested to see where this tech goes!
@@user-op8fg3ny3j They went shiny shiny, not doable and relevant. Or useable. 🤔 Like Katie Price or Pamela Anderson, harsh but fair analogy. With more anal ogy.
Their products are still usually pretty good. It's customer service and warranty that are shit. I have never had an issue with any of the Asus motherboards or gpus I've had, and got luck with my ROG Ally, almost a year into ownership and everything including the SD card slot still work great.
@LunarList rather or not your a fan of rgb or not....irrelevant.. you can turn that nouse wheel off and the colorful lights disappear...it's also a $250 mouse because it's "extreme" but my mouse that cost half the price puts it to shame
Didn't you retire from tech? I have unsubsidized from your channel after years of following when u said you retire But somehow I keep seeing new videos from you on the home screen
Asus is just getting ridiculous with their pricing. Sure they make nice products, but their warranty is trash and everything is priced at least 30% higher than what would actually make sense. I am done giving them my money. It just really sucks that EVGA is basically gone. Their are no trustworthy manufacturers left in the PC industry. I am going to keep my 12700k 3080 12gb system going for as long as possible before I upgrade.
Personally, having a tiny monitor inside your rig to display anything but temperature or speed is unnecessary, as a home user or gamer you're never going to look at it. Its just a gimmick and waste of money.
how hard is it to put standard(ized) connectors on the rad body somewhere and route the signals from there down one or both of the sleeved tubes? a prettier aio is just not rocket science (barring other people's patents)...
wow. nobody can engineer shit people don't want at 3x the price like Asus! I don't want a fucking home theater on my AIO, I want it to cost less than $300.
Next time have a 2nd microphone so we can hear the person talking about their stuff on the booth. Really head to hear with the music and other the talking in the back ground.
I like the concept of the folding cooler, but it would be cool if they made variants that didn’t fold and it was either stuck bent or straight out. Asus coolers are already really expensive it would be nice of them to allow customers to not have to take out a loan to afford their products.
Dont buy the azoth, the Keyswitches are junk and after a period of a few months all keys are prone to ghost double presses, is a common issue with them, and i doubt they made new switches
For those connectors, I'd suggest that only one cable comes out of the AIO, and then terminates into a hub of some sort where everything can be plugged in. This hub will be hidden in the back of the PC of course. I'm not sure if this is possible but I'd imagine this could be the solution to clean up the appearance of this product.
Just what we don't need another gpu adapter for an nvidia card. So many IT mfrs have lost their minds when it comes to the KISS principle. Make it more complex so we can charge more and deny warranty. People don't have a torx driver so we had to complicate it. Spare me days!
Asus meeting went like- What can we improve in our aio? Let’s put bigger screens on it. But won’t it look ugly with all those extra bulky connecors? Meh people won’t notice over the hentai displaying on the screen. I think next aio witll just have montior size screen on it so you won’t need external displays anymore.
For the Cpu screen. The connections look cool to me. It would be neat to have a clean option for more money perhaps but I like this. I feel like the cheaper more consumer friendly approach is better. I'm not sure I would buy this but if it was like $50 or $100 maybe one day but probably I'm not the target customer for this atm. Neat though.
I have to say, thank you Asus. I've wanted a wooting since they were a mere Kickstarter and was willing to be gouged by them because of what they are doing being new and all, small company, all that, I could justify what they charge in my head. But after hearing $500 for a keyboard that's only meh, suddenly wooting sounds like a steal compared to this!
Would be nice if Asus could fix their tarnished reputation. Their engineers really put in some serious work, and so does their design team. . . when they veer away from spamming their "FOR THOSE WHO DARE" stickers on everything. Now whoever is in charge of pricing these things. . . chill. You make Nvidia look generous sometimes.
Please launch things WORLD WIDE. In india we are still waiting for the OLEDs to arrive, so i bought the LG one. You are missing alot of market potential.
What about when their overpriced items are sold with shit quality control and many broken damaged products? Its not like asus would scam consumers like that...right?
Their PR disaster aside, that OLED monitor looks pretty sweet and the price is actually decent. Absolutely not excited about a $500 keyboard or a $250 mouse though.
Move the connectors to the back of the AIO and have cutouts in the motherboard so they pass through directly behind and you dont see any cables at all. Or just make the screen biggger to hide everything
There’s actually a lot of motherboards that are coming out with it now. It seems like a good ideas if you want to put a huge cooler on your cpu. Plus the speed and latency advantages.
