You do not need to unscrew the rails for the cabinets. The two black tabs are meant for easy removal and insertion. One on one side is pulled up with your finger and the other side is pushed and held down at the same time. Goes in and out quite easily, unless your black tabs are broken.
Have you had any warranty issues? Are you happy with the van? How many miles do you have on the van? Would you buy another one? I’m considering buying one and just doing my research.
You are awesome with your explanations and clearing up any concerns..... I am looking to purchase a Rize or Scope and it's such a fantastic versatile B van I feel..... I'm glad you said that about a cassette toilet because it's so true, it's not as disgusting as people might think especially if you only do the number one and number 2 things just like you said lol..... And I believe even if it's freezing outside you can still use the cassette because it's inside the heated Van so long as you don't leave it in there and let it freeze when you are not in the Van and keeping it heated 🤔.... At least I think that's how it can work..... Anyhow thank you very much, I learned a lot!
Thanks for the video. I am renting one this coming summer for two weeks. Thanks for starting the generator, to give an idea of how loud it is. Questions: 1) How much is the ground clearance for the generator? Have you had your camper on any dirt roads with ruts or potholes? I'm concerned about the low clearance. 2) How do you like the shower? How long will the water last? (About how many quick showers can you take?) 3) You have a strap on the refrigerator door and mentioned not keeping things in the door while traveling. I assume the door has popped open while driving? 4) Have you had any concerns with the build quality? Things you needed to fix? Thanks again.
Leveling, how difficult to do? What process do you go through? Also, could you list any links to products you have used as an example? Any suggestions on how to keep the back of the mirrors and bumper areas from oxidizing since they aren’t painted? Your generator appears to be ahead of the rear axle, how is the ground clearance?Thank you in advance!😊
Turbo is adorable! We have a 2022 Scope. Just took it on our first cross country trip and it performed perfectly on mountain passes and city. No complaints. That’s crazy about the drawers. One of our drawers under the sink came all the way out. We were able to fix it by pulling out the side rails and holding them out while pushing the drawer back into it until it clicked. What is the modified window cover? Thanks for the video.
Yes Turbo is my RV buddy (-: I bought the lighter windshield cover on Amazon ~$40. I think it’s easier to use. GalaxyAuto Custom Fit Windshield... www.amazon.com/dp/B09D4386ND?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you for this great video, I love the floorplan with the bathroom on the back. We are considering getting one like that. But have a few questions if you wont mind: How comfortable is the sofa seats when traveling? Are they good to bring guests along? What MPG average do you get? Is the Promaster 1500 mechanical reliable? I have seen so many bad reviews, not sure if it is because is being used for heavy work use. Thank you! PS- Your dog stayed put during the whole video, really like the van!😀
Sofa seat are comfy but I suggest to bring some stools so your feet hang out. It’s about 13 city/16 highway. I’ve seen it up to 18 highway when it’s flat. Engine is reliable and strong. I have a driving video that highlights that. Turbo loved the van! Hope this helps.
@@semimba I rent it out of Citrus Heights near Sacramento. My awning is not working now. I still rent it but have that disclaimer. Just waiting for the awning motor replacement part.
Am thinking about this van as best for short travels and day trips and taking our Cockapoo with us. Like the size , cassette toilet, tankless hot water. Do you have remote start for generator and ac , to keep dog cool? Would add a tv or tablet. Bed should be ok for us. Thor should offer a slide out for bed , and an opening window by the kitchen. Otherwise a reasonable priced b van
On the inverter, do you leave it turned on when driving? Or always shut it off at that switch unless plugged into shore power? Soon to be a newbie owner so your video is awesome!
Great video! How long can you run the generator and roof AC continuous in hot weather say 100 degrees outside? I’m thinking of getting one to live out of in Florida where it’s really hot. And what is the gas mileage?
Cracks from regular driving on the freeway. They are near the right and left bottom corners so not distracting at all. Insurance covered the “gel fill” for future prevention.
Hi there. I’m very much interested in renting as we are planning to eventually purchase one. Would you happen to have a link to your rental listing? I’m also local (in Folsom) and was wondering if possible to check it out in person. Much appreciated. -Rod
Hello. Here is a link to my rental. Yes, you can check it out in person. www.outdoorsy.com/rv-rental/citrus-heights_ca_united-states/2022_thor-motor-coach_rize-scope_277187-listing
There are some interior differences but overall the same build from the same manufacturer. I heard they make two similar models due to the dealerships.
Did you ever sleep on it. I’m looking at possibly purchasing it but I’m wondering if 2 people can fit. My husband and I aren’t tall people. Do you know the dimensions when it is extended into the bed?
Who do you rent to? Don't the rental companies take a huge cut of the rental fee? One company told me they take 70% ,(woah) because they handle everything including insurance and cleaning.
