+Lord Minty I have to agree with you. I haven't read the comics so I'm not sure how Jane is portrayed in it, but the Jane in the movies is kinda dumbed down to almost a "damsel in distress" state that it's quite irritating to watch. Lady Sif, on the other hand, that is one female character that I would love see more of her character development in the next movie. (Also, Jaimie Alexander is such a lovely actress I would love see more of her!)

Yeah haha if anything Jane should be nothing more than a one night stand. Thor had tons of demigod children in Norse Mythology. Thor shouldn't act the way that he does in the movies.

Well, taken from what Jaimie and Tom said, in the comic Thor-Jane relationship would be what fans of the comic would expect, that's probably why Kenneth Branagh focused more on that aspect of Thor's romantic relationship. Also, many of the comic fans are quite offended when I said Jane is a damsel in distress so I assumed that there's more to her character than to what's displayed in the movie. But then again, I was hoping Ragnarok would set solely in Asgard and the other realms other than Midgard so Jane probably won't be coming back since it seems like she have no actual role in this one. Hahaha.

Me too I don't want Earth in the next movie, Little glimpses sure but I want them to focus on the gods trying everything they can to delay it. As for Jane, they replaced Thor with her because apparently Thor can't seem to lift his hammer that was specifically made for him. Which I think is BS because Thor is supposed to be a name, not a title.

I think Hemsworth mentioned about that in one of the interview. That it'll be hard for Thor movie to be set in Earth anymore since there have been many other superhero character originated from Earth introduced into the MCU that it'll be weird if the battle set in Earth but the other superheroes doesn't show up. So it'll be best if it's set solely in Asgard. Oh right, I've heard that about female Thor. Like I've said, I haven't read the comics. So is that story line originated from the comic or something? It is a bit weird, I feel like. Female Thor? Like you said, it's a name, not a title to be passed on. :\

She was extremely busy on her own show from nbc blindspot where she’s the protagonist and didn’t had the time on her schedule to be involved on the movie. But now that the show ended after 5 seasons, probably she will be on the next Thor movie: Love and Thunder

Praveen Kumar yeah the movie seemed to of forgotten her completely. Is she dead, is she on the ship, out on a mission somewhere else who knows. Hell the movie never even bothered to tell Thor his other 3 friends are dead >.> can't let that shit deraill the comdity train. The sad thing is we'll probably never even see or hear from her again :(

She wasn’t on the movie because she was busy filming her nbc show Blindspot, she didn’t have time on her schedule to be on Thor 3. But now that Blindspot is finally over after 5 seasons she may be on Thor 4 Love and Thunder.

Dana says- Jaimie Alexander is awesome, but she doesn't do all her own stunts. She does a lot, but she still has a stunt double. Interestingly enough, the woman who was her stunt double for years was also one of her closest friends and even her roommate for a while.

True. In the movies she did and she hurt her back in a news report. So in Blindspot she does most of them still but you are right, not all anymore. There are not many actors in their late 30s who can do all their stunts. Kiefer Sutherland did it on 24 (and it is one of the reasons he eventually gave it up).

Al Renshaw kill Valkyrie off and replace her with Sif. Sif has a rich history with Thor in the comics I’m annoyed they are avoiding it.
