I've never seen the movies. I understand the weapons a little. but I didnt know they actually had feelings, just a sense of who is worthy and not. 😂 see this video makes me want to start watching the MCU movies. I've never seen one.
It was also extremely easy on the special effects budget since someone was holding up the prop just out of frame. I like to think that Thor was supposed to be holding Stormbreaker for the entire scene but forgot to grab it before they yelled action.
Stormbreaker - scarecrow, bottlecap opener, woodcutting axe Mjölnir - guardian of Jane, judge of worthiness, family heirloom Obviously stormbreaker is jealous of Mjölnir
I think this joke was REALLY FUNNY in that first scene where he tries to call Mjolnir and Stormbreaker comes in slowly instead. But all the later attempts just show how Thor regressed to a man-child instead of a man he became in Ragnarok - Endgame. It was stupid.
With recurring characters that show up episodically where each entry needs a full story arc, unfortunately this leads to characters that cannot truly grow over time
Or it just shows Thor's humility. He's not above showing acknowledgment to his friends, even if they happen to be weapons with emotions. Ruling out behaviour traits just because we think it doesn't befit grown-ups is a mark of egotism.
It's hard to make a serious super hero movie look at the first Thor everyone said it was boring and that he had no charisma or personality nothing wrong with adding humor to a movie
Me: It's cute, just let it be cute. My angsty writer brain: Do you think Thor is personifying his weapons as a trauma response to losing everyone close to him?
The only person who was trying to be serious was Gorr. Bale prob took one look at the circus of a script and knew he aint having any of that and just be serious in a comedy show
They need to make a retcon that a reality warping deity or some outside force was causing Marvel to become a joke for a period of time. They “defeat” this cosmic horror, and suddenly the MCU becomes amazing again!
I mean i heard that they dieceded to do more quality over quanity cuase they evidently lose a lot of money. And with loki s2 being pretty good, hopefully we will get the marvel we wanted again
The whole love and thunder is like that one walking dude meme. The one where the guy is looking at another girl but his gf catches him Know what im saying?
Since this movie it’s been like Mjolnir and especially Strormbreaker have a mind of their own like the cloak of levitation otherwise before that it looked like you just had to have the power to wield it.
I'm a massive Marvel fan. I avoided this one for a long time. Put it as a low priority on my watch list. I was disappointed before pressing play. It was a huge let down.
Wow that thor outfit was absolutely fitting. They really should've kept it for the rest of the movie. The sheen and shine on it at 0:25 is something else.
Lol man you're reaching so hard how does having a new Zealand director make it a new Zealand movie ? They didn't mention new Zealand once not even a mention of a kiwi
Why Stormbreaker wasn't behaving like this in Endgame because Mjolnir was present in that movie too and Thor was using both at same time. So why Stormbreaker was behaving like a jealous girlfriend in Thor Love and Thunder?
And ever since then, Mjolnir tasted a sense of freedom, liberation! It was time to move on from the God of Thunder, and explore the different hands of whoever was worthy! A true adventure indeed!
I have a theory here me out. The Axe part is jealous of his ex hammer and the groot limb is jealous of Jane Foster. This is canon in some what if story in a technical sense so.....
It seems like the film makers of that phase were told to destroy the characters and to introduce the replacements. Not content to just retire the characters. They had to be assassinated. Tore down made to be out of touch and unlikeable or in rare cases just killed off. Cap got retired in a respectable manner. Iron Man was killed off as a hero. The rest got the shaft in one way or another.
