This is a tribute to the joy Fili and Kili brought into Thorin's life. His nephews were a light shining bright in his darkness, made all the more intense because they and his sister, Dis, were his only remaining family. The song You'll Be In My Heart seemed to be particularly appropriate.

Ya know what's really sad? The fact that Thorin outlived is nephews and Dis outlived her sons and brother.

I really hope in the third movie thorin doesn't get like possessed from the arkenstone and like go mad I think I would cry especially as kili and fili didn't even get to the mountain and they found out there uncle went crazy I would probably cry.
