Thornton Manor 2 weeks after the fire on 19.2.22

I visited Thornton Manor today, exactly 2 weeks to the day after the devastating fire.
We have also had some terrible storms over the last 2 weeks and so I wanted to see if anything had changed or what further damage the weather has caused.
I will keep an eye on this building and cover the progress of its restoration. Lets hope its a quick turnaround for everyone involved.

Aww thankyou Mr drone another amazing video. Been waiting too see latest footage of the manor, glad to see storm hasn't done too much damage with it all being so open. So very very sad 😔. I used to go there every year with the primary school and walk around the gardens and have a picnic with Lord Leverhulme. And my nan used to work there for Lord Leverhulme a very long long time ago. My mum has always hoped to see the room where my nan stayed. Unfortunately that won't happen now. Just so glad that no one was hurt. Look forward definitely for seeing more videos on the manor thankyou again xx

Heartbreaking footage Thankfully no lives lost and looks like the building will be saved, hugely important part of The Wirral’s heritage… I’m from there but now living in Dublin…
