What do you think about Paratrooper jumper boots? I see a lot of Bates vs Rocky, what do you think about those? Is it just about aesthetics?

I'm a big fan of Rocky boots. I never owned a pair of bates so I cannot comment. I will tell you that the Thorogood are about the best fit I've had compariable to redwing boots.

I've owned and used Rocky paratroopers for 25 years. Very comfortable Boots. Only owned one pair of Bates and they ran to small.

just got mine today, really comfortable but I am DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA.

Have owned a pair for about 3 - 4 years. Soles on both stares to separate and liner inside ripped in the heel area. But I’m still going to order another pair. They were comfortable and did well by me. Good review!

Thanks. Yes they have served me well, might switch to redwing when I wear this pair out, uncertain yet.
