Time for a smoke alarm thorough cleaning and battery replacement or a new smoke alarm! I figured this out when I replaced the smoke alarms in my house that were from 1990.
@@Sayxxmine usually make false alarms becuase my stepdad smoke/or sometime the oven smokes When it will be real, I'll think it was only my step-dad, and in school I'll think it would be an exercise
😅1 mistake many people make is not to put a rechargeable battery in it. 1 saves you a lot of money 2 if it already has a charging function, it will also be charged until the power goes out, in other words you will not hear the fire alarm for years
Do a search for 'Technology Connections smoked detector'. He has a video on which one is better, and that may help you with the false alarm thing. You can also now buy wireless interconnected smoke detectors, so you can put them in reach of your ladder if you have vaulted ceilings. I actually came here from the T.C. video because I found out about the wireless interconnected detectors, and I'm finally going to replace the ones we pulled down off the wall when they kept alarming even after we changed the batteries.
My smoke alarm decided to wake my mom and I up at 3:00 in the morning a couple of weekends ago. It’s a talking alarm on top of that. It was beeping and announced “fire”. Turns out it was a false alarm 🙄
Mine won't shut up its in the closet it won't stop beeping even with a battery changed how do I fix this the fire alarm in our home is a low quality one and idk how to fix it we unplugged it and placed it in the closet it beeps so much
Smoke detector: beeps Guy: looks up Him: 😮what in the hell, why does my smoke detector have a face? This is just related to the animation edit on the smoke detector
True I was up at 1 am in the morning trying to get a midnight snack without my mom hearing my and the smoke detector said reeeee (at the time I was 5 ). I got so scared and I fell over cause I knock down my mom vase I thought my mom would catch me so I blamed it on my brother and he got a whopping and I was relieved that I didn’t get in trouble
