Ground of Aces is a game that puts us in charge of a somewhat rundown World War 2 airbase in England and gives us the job of sorting it out!
We start with a pile of resources, a few basic buildings and a handful of noble chaps ready to work their hardest for good old Blighty!
Our ultimate goal is to get the airfield ready to accept aeroplanes, because when we start our airfield doesn't have a runway, which does seem like a little bit of an oversight. However we have to sort other things out first before the runway can get sorted out.
We build some crafting tables to allow us to craft some basic things like planks and bricks, we build a kitchen so we can craft proper meals from the food we scavenge, we even have to build additional beds for our staff!
But of course the big thing is getting the runway done and getting some planes in, which we do, and they look fantastic! We immediately send them away on a very special mission indeed, a mission that involves... cake...
