Part one: Mega Gay Part two: Mexican Cell Part three: Mega Gay two: The electric boogaloo Part four: David Bowie and the BDSM cat Part five: One and a half Men Part six: Mega Gay: The reckoning Part Seven: That chick from the Junji Ito manga Part eight: Whom'st'nt've'de?
Ringo Roadagain, Vanilla Ice, Santana, Jack the Ripper, Yuya Fungami, Damo Tamaki, Cioccolata, and I dont really have one for part 6. One of Dio's sons.
Kalen Bellamy Phantom Blood: Bruford Battle Tendency: Wamuu (don't know if he counts as a minor villain) Stardust Crusaders: Vanilla Ice Diamond Is Unbreakable: Keicho, Rohan and Yukako (when they were considered villains) Vento Aureo: Prosciutto and Pesci Stone Ocean: Just finished the Planet Waves arc, There's yet to be a villain that caught my attention
JoJo villian deaths in a nutshell Dio: Aight imma head. Kars: Wants to prove the Earth is flat DIO: Rice Krispies Kira: Somebody better call Waaahbulence. Diavlo: How to count past infinity.
dang, king crimson's ability is just so confu- -in conclusion, Jotaro, DIO, and Speedwagon is the only people that is able to deflect the Emerald Splash
Not the theme only, I love Kars as no one understands him, all jojo fanboys kept screaming Whamu was the best pillar men and he was a good pillar man. Kars on the other hand wanted to free his people but no one agreed, they threaten to kill him so he murdered his race.
I just now noticed that the bottle of whisky dio was drinking in part 1 was “Cronenberg 12” which I am pretty certain was a subtle foreshadow of him losing his humanity since Cronenberg is the name of a director who made movies that featured grotesque monsters... or it’s a coincidence idfk
In terms of characters, I've still gotta give props to Kira. No other villain in anything has ever made me go,"Man, if I was a villain, I'd just be that dude" as much as Kira. - Awsm Chimera
Kars & Kira got me into the series. Dio is just great through his actions. Pucci is my favourite as a character. Funny Valentine makes me laugh out loud with his Stand power.
I appreciate that you, unlike a lot of other JoJo youtubers, stick to the era that you are talking in so that can stop watching when part 5 comes up and not be spoiled. I have watched things on part 2 Joseph and people where dropping info bombs on stuff in part 4. So kudos to you for keeping shit pretty neat.
Honestly man I love Kars too. He is so well written and his passion towards his goals makes it better. Not only that but as you said, perfect lifeforms are BA.
The Pillar Men are the biggest "what ifs?" in the seires. If they woke up in the 1980's instead of the 1930's and got stands, then I would have no doubt in my mind that they would be LITERALLY unstoppable. (Especially Ultimate Kars)
A complaint a lot of people have with Kars is that He wasn’t as, for lack of a better word, relatable or human as the other villains. The thing about Kars is that he’s not human. All the other villains are still people to some sense and you can see that in their motives, interactions and flaws. Kars isn’t human yet Joseph, our protagonist, is so extremely human that he comes off as over the top and wacky. It set off almost jarring dynamics throughout the story. I love Kars. If you look at him without the dynamic with the Joestars especially, he’s absolutely fascinating. It’s a shame that he kinda got a raw deal though, simply because of the situation of Battle Tendancy.
both dio and diavolo: have a time controlling power, have multiple stand abilities, change lipstick and hair when they power up, throw their own blood at the heros eyes to blind them just as the final battle was ending, send waves of villains at the jojos team and both their names start with di
My metaphor for part 3 is they bought a used computer and are playing a game after jonathan thought the game was finished when the game played some fakeout credits.
Why doesn't Jotaro just use Star Platinum to stop time, snap the bad guy's neck and save the day instantly. like with Pucci, instead of punching his face he could use Star Platinum's steel bar-bending strength to easily twist his head off. also if Joseph brought any normal UV flashlight he could have done alot more in the Dio fight. Even with the decisions made in JoJo's i still love this absolute fever dream of a series
Kars is my favorite villain and favorite character and the series. I love him and the rest of the pillarmen a lot. Kira is my second favorite I love him too.
I am actually really thankful, on my Netflix it skipped part 5 so I thought stone ocean was part 5. I already watched a few episodes but thanks a lot man
However brief Kars' appearance was, I think Battle Tendency had the best, if not perfect, pacing. The plot progressed without being too meandering in one part, nor too quick. Every moment of the entire season was gratifying.
Thank you for this! Diavolo is massively underrated! Even after the anime cane out. Some people seem to assume that he is a weak villain because we only see him near the end which I could not disagree more with, Diavolo, Doppio, King Crimson, they are all The same character. The are all a different aspect of the main villain and I love that
I think that Diavolo is the complete opposite of what Kira is, while Kira hides in the light if you will so with many things you can look up on Yoshikage Kira like where he lives or what work he is doing or even when he was born, while his evil side is hidden in the shadow. Diavolo´s evil side is all we know about him, instead of hiding his crimes like Kira does, a whole country knows what crimes the leader of Passione commits. And while at least some people (the people who work with him) know who Yoshikage Kira is on the outside, even if you see Diavolo on the street you wouldn´t know who he is, because you cannot see Diavolo.
Imagine if DIO learned about ULF and than attained ULF somehow. Or Imagine if Kars mysteriously came back to Earth somehow and than got a Stand like King Crimson or The World.
You need to work on how you script or structure these videos. I feel like you ramble from point to point without much transition, so it makes your videos confusing to listen to. Couldn't agree more with Diavolo though.
I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU TOOK INTO ACCOUNT THAT IF EVERY PILLAR MEN USED THE VAMPIRE MASK THEY WOULD HAVE DRAINED OFF A WHOLE LOT OR JUST ALL OF THE EARTH'S LIFE
Honestly, every villain after part 3 is amazing. Kira is great for his design and personality, Diavolo has an incredible concept behind him and the creepiest stand out of them all and Pucci is the greatest sexually repressed priest that ever existed. Haven't finished part 7 yet, but I'm hearing only good things about Funny Valentine.
Lmao @ Pucci's description. Kinda agree that villains past part 3 are well written. Tho DIO, however, imo will always remain the iconic one. Honestly, Jojo villains are something else.
Literally the stardust crusaders is like a group in a video game fighting the boss which is dio and kakyion and iggy dies polarneff lives jotaro lives and he just uses a revive item on Joseph
SPOILERS: You could argue valentine is not a "villain" but he is a down right criminal, he keeps sending assassins at a crippled man and a man of other nationality, then he kills Diego and hotpants, he then proceeds to slit Johnny's horses neck, shoots gyro to death, he planned an official national race for reasons that a race should not be conducted under. Also, he is breaking the international treaty of, wait that doesnt exist yet, but you get my point
one of the craziest things about kira is when you wonder what would have happened if he won. literally nothing. morioh-cho would become just another sleepy town in the forgotten fields of japan. it may have an 80% higher missing rate, but koichi had to do extensive research to realise that, so apparently no one can tell.
Kars - dude was scary, he saw humans as nothing more than bugs just to be crushed! Yoshikage Kira - a psychopath serial killer who was then given a scary-ass power Diavolo - even without knowing who his father was this guy was just _born wrong_ (still I kinda felt sorry for him with the whole “never-ending death loop” thing) For me however *”DIO!”* while he will always be the “best” villain in the entire JJBA series he will also always be the single Biggest Bastard in Anime! I mentioned Diavolo was _born wrong?_ Well *”DIO!”* is just a all around _wrong_ hell first thing he does when he is officially introduced is kick his adopted brother’s beloved dog in the face! He then sets out to simultaneously destroy Jonathan and kill the man who took him in while trying to repay a (mistaken) debt to *”DIO’S!”* father ... then the whole vampire thing happened and he became an even bigger bastard (remember the mother he turned into a vampire who then ate her own baby? That’s a special kind of evil right there! 😡😡😡 He *stole* Jonathan’s dead body then tried to use it to kill the rest of the Joestar Family (oh and the world, can’t forget that) ... everything this guy does he is cold, methodical and just *evil* to the core ... if anything his death was too humane, he deserved much worse for all the shit he pulled over the course of the series, especially for poor Danny! 😭😭😭
Part 3: THE SECRET OF HIS STAND IS TI- Part 4: THE SECRET OF HIS STAND IS TI- Part 5: THE SECRET OF HIS STAND IS TI- I just finished part 6 Part 6: THE SECRET OF HIS STAND IS TI-
Araki does his research. Tusk act 4 brings my thoughts to merkabah mysticism (it feels intentional from arakis part but i have no basis for this theory) and there is also some mormon lore in part 7.
Diavolo is a great villain, but when you account for the second half of his character things just get so much bett- wait hold on the phone is ringing brb
I love Kars because his actions speak louder than words. He respects nature over the humanity that rejected nature. His idea of perfection is to be every animal at once.
I like how whenever Diavolo switched to Doppio, Doppio was sort of a temporary protagonist that I actually found myself rooting for sometimes. Remember: there’s a difference between protagonist and hero.
When you look at the root word it makes sense: "protagonista" The whole "proto" half comes from the Greek acting term for the first actor, because the protagonist would always appear on stage first for stage performances. The "agonista" comes from the part that is the actor. So it's just the person that appears first in plays, nothing to do with them being a hero. The "proto" is the same for other words like prototype, being the first model.
What if someone could have helped dio in his younger years like a friend with a similar situation but with a different perspective. Maybe that could have helped him be a better person ?
@@jd_elderberry Well if the carridge driver did his job joseph jotaro josuke giorno johnny and jo8ske wouldnt exist and the pillarmen would have rules the planet
Yoshikage Kira is my Favorite Jojo character PERIOD, I love everything about his personality, character design, stand, and stand design Part 4 Kira that is
I really personally started to like his character when he faked not seeing Harvest grabbing his bag, actually made me go "wait he's not a stand user, whaaaa?" As he had provably noticed that other people cant see his Killer Queen
Ah yes, David Bowie with a severed hand fetish and a furry stripper cat that has the ability to turn anything into a remote bomb, a pretty much invincible mini tank that can infinitely blow up, and a tiny version of the stripper cat that rewinds time with just one more explosion. I like him too.
Diavolo is my favorite villain and one of my favorite characters in JoJo as a whole, and it makes me really happy to know that you love him, too. He is indeed a savage, but one of my favorite things about him is that if you don't try to dig into his past and leave him alone, he'll treat you fine and isn't really a threat to you. It's only when you provoke him that he'll do devilishly (pun intended) gruesome things to you. Also, I personally love buff men, so Diavolo being a muscular man after Araki stopped making everyone manly was great to see. I could go on and on about how much I love Diavolo and King Crimson, but I'll spare you fanboying. P.S. King Crimson better have a The World-esque sound effect when it erases time in the anime. I need my dubstep farts.
I think he is likeable, but a lot of his potential is wasted, like most of part 5. The twist in the middle kinda ruined it because it made a really interesting setup revert to something we had seen before. Besides that, Diavolo could have been great but the part ended rather abruptly and he had very little time to be fleshed out. Compared to the attention all other antagonists were paid by Araki he really got shafted.
I think what ruined part 5 was the bad translation we got. That's why people thought part 5 was horrible. But re reading it with better scan was a burst of fresh air
Maybe... But again, I was so hyped about the whole mob infiltration plot, which was advertised quite a lot in the early volumes. I wanted to see Giorno slowly gain the trust of the boss or his surrounding organization. I wanted to see intrigues, betrayal and hard decisions. Character drama. But the twist in the middle was essentially an excuse to avoid the change from the "travel from A to B and fight along the way" plot to something different. And that is a disappointment a better translation wouldn't fix.
I now want a villian that Swich between timelines like: as long as the user have somehow had the possibility of ending up there, he can turn the current timeline into that as the requim, while as normal he can just swich himself between different verisons of himself from other timelines and this guy's tarrot card: The Universe as he have solved how none can defeat him by optaining what would without his stand be pure *ASSPULL* and he get defeated because he succedded in that as the JoJo he face has a stand that can turn the user into his enemy to fight Fire with Fire, and the JoJo planned to do it since he found his stand ability, and for someone as strong as this new enemy stand user it be taking 1 whole year to load it
The World: stops time Killer Queen Bites the Dust: loops time King Crimson: erases time Made in Heaven: accelerates time Gold Experience Requiem: *N O*
