Synopsis: Great outdoor adventures (what it's famous for) busy, small town with lots of tourists. Hard to find, expensive housing, two hours to nearest real towns.
It's like any gateway/ski/vacation town - You have your people who love what the area offers, some interesting people who tell some amazing stories about Moab "back in the day," and I wouldn't say stuck up (That sounds very "East Coast rich" to me), but perhaps thinking they are special and unique because they moved here. I just know I met some great people here that I consider friends. And well over a year after making this video, I don't see my wife and I leaving, at least until retirement.
Thanks for making this video. We are considering a move to Moab, my wife also works for the NPS and has an offer there. The housing market is daunting. I'd love to pick your brian a bit more if possible! Cheers
structured rambling.... no real usable intel specific to Moab... You could change the name of the city to any Utah, CO, or Montana city and every statement you said would apply.
