Thoughts on Republican Party’s Platform Change on Abortion 

I have 2 siblings. I should have 3. My aborted brother would argue with you, if he were given a chance to live and speak on the issue. And that is why my family is now pro life. My mom has lived with so much anguish and pain over a decision that she made that was stupid and rash and she was just uneducated about. "welcome to reality"? screw that reality. Your reality doesnt have to be mine either. "uneducated about" means that most women, when confronted with the reality of what abortion is....chopping up the baby in the womb and sucking it out with a vacuum, decide to not go through with it. Once they have the chance to see the baby moving, and its heart beating....they choose not to. A lot do.Of course there are many that still dont care...in a world with billions of people, even 1% is a lot. But a lot of women have a change of heart when confronted with what is really going down.

@@tommywolfe2706 um… no matter how many paragraphs you write it’s never going to change the fact that the pro-life position is unpopular. Your personal anecdotes and beliefs are irrelevant. There’s polling on this… studies… I didn’t make them up; I’m just relaying the facts. But you need to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around you or your subjective worldview. Stop being self-righteous and conceited. Humble yourself. Accept that other’s may think differently. Grow up. Repeat.

@@TrevJ91 In your part of the world. I dont care if you say its unpopular. In your world it is. Your family, friends, the people around you all feed into your delusion and that is where you are coming from. I didnt even read all of what you said. You are more worried about what you perceive as popular opinion rather than the issue itself. Come to my area and ask 100 people. Majority will agree with me. Just like if I went to your area it would be different. That is fact.
