I find myself coming back to this video every so often after finding them back in late 2020, late 2021 when my cousin passed away to suicide i really absolutely dove into this entire album, specifically this song and the ways it has helped me get through so many hard times since then. Last October i got to see Thousand Below live and was able to talk to James after their set and was able to explain this same thing to him and he just stopped, asked if he could give me a hug and we just talked about their music and how it’s helped me. I will forever love Thousand Below for everything they have done for me. Hope anyone reading this knows things do get better.

my dad lost himself in the drugs and every since I've lost him , my life is so different, I feel lost like I don't belong , I feel like dying everyday but I keep going for unknown reasons "you couldn't bury the pain , instead it buried you " fits his situation so perfect, it tears me apart that I couldn't help

My father was killed last year by people he was involved in a meth life style with. They never got the people that did it even though everyone knows who did it. I can relate to your pain. I'm an addiction counselor with close to twelve years clean so that made me feel guilty like I should have been able to save him, but I couldn't. I suggest focus on the positive memories and remember that grief is an individual process. Don't compare your grief process to others. Try to remember that your dad wouldn't want you to suffer missing him or questioning your own life.

Words can’t explain how incredible this band is TLYLTC was easily album of the year in 2017 for me, this band has helped me so much over the course of a year mentally and emotionally and after meeting James in Bristol (uk) he’s such a cool and humble guy, really hope they come back soon!
