I'm not Christian, but I have a couple Christian friends, and I am very glad they introduced me to this band. I know some people who've been attacked for their beliefs, and others who have been attacked because of what they don't believe in, and I'm extremely thankful that I've managed to find the sort of friends who accept people with other beliefs, and that I am able to do so myself. TFK has awesome music, and their lyrics are relatable for Christians and non-Christians alike. :)

MidnightKatana another thing: yes, there may be people who shouldn't do so, but there are people who have to do so because of a disability to fit in any scenario. I wear my mask to hide autism, and others can do so to help people around them. My handful of friends both choose to wear a mask in order to hide the sorrows in which they have lived through.

they openend their set as the final act at the First Love Fest with this song. First time I had heard it. Completely awesome! I thank God that we have them and other bands like them who want to speak the real whole truth and nothing but the truth and can still rock out to God in praise! So, I've been a TFK fan for well over a year now(found them through Osu when I decided to look up the word "Thousand" and found Courtesy Call) and Welcome to the Masquerade has been among my favorites since I discovered them(my favorite has to be Take It Out On Me or I See Red). Thus, when I found out my school was doing a masquerade at the end of the year, I immediately got to work on making the WttM album cover mask. I've never been to a school dance before and I only went so I had an excuse to make and wear that mask.

Krystal Daneilson I clearly hear a 'sh' sound where 'ss' in masses would be. There's also another mistake in the lyrics a little before that

The one who learns I think where the confusion is, is that at one part it sounds like they are saying masses instead of ashes and vice versa

Krystal Daneilson When it says "sea of masks" it's actually "sea of masses" The "scare the masses" is actually "scatter ashes". "I'm not one to scatter ashes But there's some things that melt the plastic" is a verse that appears twice, plus one at the end. This is something that, it might just be me, I hear clearly. I think I misinterpreted what you said.

The one who learns 0:29 is ashes. 1:34 they say masses edit: nvm
